OMG!!! So, we went down to the riverwalk last night and many places were closed. We decided to stop into Rio Rio and were treated to the worst mexican in san antonio.

Seriously, it was like they took the tortillas directly from the package! The rice was undercooked and had zero flavor. The fajitas... Either way, I will stop there.. Worst food in my life.

I was shocked at how horrible it all was. Poor ing tourists! No wonder I never go down there.

    This is a Christmas gift.

I worked there for 5 years. It was tough. The tortillas are packaged. They go through a warmer for 10 seconds and sit in foil for about 30 minutes before you order.

This rice is bad. It's fresh in the morning and really good, but youre getting the crap in the evening. Second shift cooks are as good as the morning crew.

The fajitas aren't too bad. But it's been a few years and I don't know if it's changed or not.

Waitstaff has progressively gotten weaker. I can't imagine it now.

The shrimp used to be amazing though.

No. This place is crappy. I went in the middle of summer, busy time on the river walk, with lots of friends before First Friday. It didn't look too busy there (obviously..now we know) so we stopped in. Needless to say we would have been better off eating some crap at First Friday.

I can't remember what we ate, but I think we all got similar dishes, and they all sucked.

I ate there in June of 2003 when I was in town house hunting. And even coming from the east coast and being totally deprived of Mexican food for almost 10 years, it was the most terrible crap I ever had!

Seriously taco bell has food that is more edible. Like someone else mentioned, the wait wasn't long. There was actually no wait at all. Food came out quickly and staff was fine. It was just the horrible food!!!
