Amber Alert Issued For Selma Girl
Erika Camacho, 15, Last Seen Wednesday Evening

SELMA, Texas -- An Amber Alert was issued for a 15-year-old girl they said was abducted by her boyfriend on Christmas Eve.
Erika Camacho was last seen Wednesday evening when she was forcibly abducted by her boyfriend, 23-year-old Ricardo Alvarado Mora, police said.
Camacho was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, denim capri pants and flip-flop sandals, and was taken from her sister's home at the Retama Race Track Dormitory, police said. Camacho and Mora may be married, police said, and lived together for an extended period of time. Camacho was staying with her sister following a domestic violence incident.
Camacho is 5 foot 3 inches tall with brown hair, brown eyes and weighs approximately 100 pounds, police said. Mora is 5 foot 4 inches tall with black hair, brown eyes and weighs approximately 140 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt, blue jeans and tennis shoes. He also has a mole above his left eyebrow, police said.
Anybody with information about Camacho or Mora is asked to contact 911 or the Selma Police Department at 210-653-0033. Selma is located just northeast of San Antonio.
What the is up with these guys? A 23 year old with a 15 year old girlfriend? Possibly married? WTF?!
Granted my wife and I have a 5 yr age difference but she was 23 when we met. I would have never tried with her when I was 21 and she was 16. Where are the stupid ass parents?
I'm not sure who the sickest people in this story are: the little girl for being with a guy eight years older than her, the 23-year year old college guy dippin' for the high schooler, or the parents who let all of this happen up to this point.
Let Darwin sort out that mess.

I don't buy the innocent routine. High school girls know better.
There's a reason they are not supposed to be riding around with boys and drinking alcohol. And there's a reason they will flock to somebody who can get around that. I think we can all probably guess the one reason the college guy is in it for.
Kids should be allowed to be kids, but at least keep them on the level of other kids. The difference between a 15 and 20 year old, and a 25 and 30 year old, is phenomenal.
I agree that the parents are to blame and I'm sorry this girl is missing, but she deserves a slap just as much as the rest of them.
In spanish camacho means calling all takers.
I'll go a step further.
Mexicans are poor and tend to live in clusters. Its common for one to seek refuge in the arms of the employeed who own vehicles.
Not that it makes a difference, but Camacho may be a Mexican national, and both she and Mora only speak Spanish. They may have been married in Mexico a few months back, but police weren't sure as of last night.

Ah thank you for the clarification! The reason I was interested is because my best friend's last name (before marriage) is Camacho. And it has always seemed odd to me how important to her it is to maintain her six figure salary and her 2 late model vehicles. But I suppose it explains why I am drawn to her, she's employed with vehicles!
Its not racism. I'm stereotyping based on my experience with credit over the last 10 years. I'm not exaggerating either. This is what I've found to be true. I kept real up to the day statistics to support it up until about a year ago.

So here's the thing with this one. She's either going to do it against her parents will and get in a lot of (like this) or the parents can agree to this (as much as they can grin and bear it) and keep their daughter. Which would you rather have? A daughter who you never see because you told her you won't agree to her relationship or a daughter who you see everyday begrudgingly? I'd take the latter.
