he sounds like a first class wuss. sounded like a badass party.

Yeah, by 'shady' I was talking about the racial stuff. I have no problem with free drugs, women and booze for recruits, that's S.O.P. for college.
he just sounds like such a wuss, and probably needs to quit relying on his mom for everything. he's gonna have to grow up at some point. then again, lufkin and east texas in general are just weird places.
what a . i would've gone to as many of those parties as possible.
This kid wondered if he could land a job in Texas with an OU degree. Did he not talk to a single carpetbagging Texan while he was in Norman? He was probably too busy scoring the tamer party environment while texting his Pentecostal mother. Anyone else catch that the woman making this decision doesn't ever watch him play?
All the under-the-table money and wild parties were sort of a given for the top defensive recruit in the state. Was he expecting fruit punch and cookies? Colt probably praised Jesus for all the free booze and skirt on his visit.
Maybe free drugs is SOP for college football or beating OU parties but bull it's SOP for the rest of us. Maybe if you have a vagina and huge s and put out for free lines of blow and needles loaded with heroin. You know this kid is going to come home for his first summer vacation chiefing on a an blunt and bumping rails at midnight after his mommy goes to sleep.
I could understand wanting to go to OU if your Mom went there, but just because Bob Stoops does a better house call than Mack Brown is a pretty ty reason. Kid needs to realize that one day his mommy and grandma won't be there to hold his hand through big decisions in life.
Oh well, enjoy your four years at OU, Jamarkus. I'm sure you'll have fond memories at the Cotton Bowl, getting pieced by Colt McCoy en route to his Heisman and a Longhorns perfect season, and then three more times by Garret Gilbert after Colt moves on.
let me tell you, you have no lived until you have had a stroke from shooting heroin through your neck
what a pussy. he should have gone to USC...he even knows. i bet his mom didn't want him going to school in L.A.; too far from Texas. how do you decide you want to go to SC and then a few days later eliminate it as an option? ....your mom.
Kid does have some momma's boy issues. I bet he wins his first game in a Sooner uniform and then after the game, some cheerleader skeezies are asking him to come back to their dorm room for a three way and he'll call his mom to ask permission.
He's a 5 star recruit and he's thinking 9 to 5 job and not NFL? This kid needs to get out more and stop calling his mother mamma.

I think it's respectable that he seeks advice from positive influences in his life. It's a better thing to do than listening to his "crew".
pentecostals are innnng crazy! he needs a better role model. obviously 75% of her sons turned out to be convicts!
And orangebloods responded to this NYT freelance writing bag...

This thing is gonna get ugly from what I can tell.
"On top of that, the (UT) fan base is full of drunk, drugged-up sex maniacs that offered numerous bribes to secure the commitment of their son."

that Jamarkus, that sooner peice of and his stupid peice of mother.
I hope this guy gets shanked by fellow drunken OU people in a norman bar.
This article has totally slandered my ing school. All I can think of is somehow someway, OU pulled off the greatest media slander in our rivalry's history. They just blasted past us in recruiting edge for the next seven years. Will take forever to fully put this one to bed.
When Colt McCoy breaks his arms and legs in five places, and Sam Bradford sets every championship game record on the way to a victory, we can finally put this horrible horrible season behind us. Jesus Christ.
I've sent emails to dozens of college football writers linking them to the NYT article and orangebloods' response. Apparently there's some stuff in the works to get UT's side of the story into the national media in a better way. We'll see what happens.
But isn't it going to be tricky since the ncaa rules state that schools cannot directly respond to like this, right?
Yeah, but nothing says that Austin American Statesman or various radio and/or internet outlets can't get the story out indirectly. The muzzle comes off on Senior signing day anyway. Check out these articles from barking carnival...the last one was written on 12/19 and was alluded to in the NYT piece.

It's Darrell Scott all over again. Memo to Mack and coaches; when the mother becomes more burdensome than the recruit, it's time to pack it in.
Its also the same NYT freelance hack who wrote the NYT article about Darrell Scott last year...Coincidence?
Said bag hack, Thayer Evans, writes an OU blog. lol
looks like the short horns are crying again damn its great to be a SOONER.
