Nah, Jones needs a puppet to control and Wade is that, so he will stay, and Jones has a mancrush on Jason Garrett for some uknown reason so he will stay too. The defensive coordinator will probobly different.

If Jerry does not fire Wade he is an idiot. The team has no respect for Wade. Did you see Romo wave off the punt team today? Parcells would have chewed hiss off if Romo did that to him.

Yeah, Wade is gone. If they had won today and still made their now usual playoff exit, I think he would have stayed but Dallas was embarrassed today even after JJ said the coaches are staying. Wade is gone, Stewart is gone and Garrett may be even gone.
I'd say Jack Del Rio is on borrowed time.
Marenelli is probably gone also...

Browns to fire Crennel after Savage ousted
Cleveland Browns senior vice president and general manager Phil Savage was fired on Sunday and team sources said that coach Romeo Crennel will also lose his job.

As first reported right here earlier in the afternoon (hey, we’re allowed to pat ourselves on the back from time to time), the Browns have fired G.M. Phil Savage.
Per Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, owner Randy Lerner made the decision to dump Savage before Sunday’s 31-0 loss at Pittsburgh.
The decision reportedly arose from “problems with Savage’s communication and leadership skills.”
Cabot reports that Lerner didn’t attend Sunday’s game because he was lining up interviews for the G.M. and/or head-coaching positions. Lerner is expected to have a face-to-face meeting with former Steelers coach Bill Cowher.
As several league insiders have opined to us, Savage simply isn’t fit to be the face of an organization. His skills are best suited to scouting potential draft picks and free agents out of the public eye.

Does it really matter if Wade is fired, the real problem is Jerry will still own the team!

Yes and no. Dallas won 3 SB's with Jerry as an owner. The problem is not Jerry owning the team, the problem is Jerry trying to be more than the owner.
They have won 3 championships I'll give Jer-rah that...However in 20 years of ownership by Clint Murchison the "boys" went to 5 Super Bowls, winning 2! Jer-rah has done nothing without the "help" of football men such as Jimmy Johnson or Bill Parcells except make multi-millions of dollars for himself by just owning the Dallas Cowboys!

Mangini fired after 3 seasons with Jets
Eric Mangini is out as head coach of the New York Jets a day after the team lost for the fourth time in five games and failed to make the playoffs.
The clincher was the Jets' 24-17 loss to Miami on Sunday that gave the Dolphins the AFC East le.
"We don't take this decision lightly," Jets owner Woody Johnson said at a Monday morning news conference. "We respect Eric for what he's done but we want to build on the successful foundation he has laid."
Mangini, 37, was 23-26 in three seasons with the Jets, including 0-1 in the playoffs.
"For the current New York Jets organization, we've made the decision to move on," Johnson said. "It's a judgment call."
The Jets acquired Brett Favre before the season started and ran off to an 8-3 start. But losses to Denver, at San Francisco, at Seattle and to Miami over the final four weeks left New York outside of the playoffs for the second straight season.
Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum said Monday the organization wants the 39-year-old Favre to return for 2009 and fulfill the final year of his contract.
Marinelli fired after historic 0-16 season
The Detroit Lions' pursuit of at least one victory in 2009 will have to come without Rod Marinelli, who was fired as coach Monday after an historic 0-16 season.
The Lions lost to the Green Bay Packers 31-21 on Sunday, making them the first team to go winless through a 16-game season. The 1976 expansion Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-14) were the last NFL team to complete a season without a victory.
"No compe or wants to go through something like this," Marinelli said after Sunday's game. "This is not fun to go through, obviously. But there's people going through a lot worse than this."
In a statement released Monday, owner William Clay Ford Sr. announced the promotions of Tom Lewand to team president and Martin Mayhew to general manager.
Ford also announced that defensive coordinator Joe Barry, assistant offensive line coach Mike Barry and secondary coach Jimmy Lake would not be retained; the contract of defensive line coach Joe Cullen will not be renewed; Jim Colletto has been reassigned to offensive line coach; and Dave Boller, the assistant director of pro personnel, will not be retained.
Marinelli was 10-38 in three seasons in Detroit.
The Lions were building toward this disastrous season for years and now have lost 23 of their last 24 games. The 0-16 record will be a lasting testimony to the Matt Millen era. With Millen as president of the team from 2001 until he was fired on Sept. 24, Detroit won only 31 games -- none this year, of course.
The Lions haven't won since Dec. 23, 2007, actually, when they beat Kansas City. Green Bay is where this woeful streak began at the end of last season. Since then, the Lions have lost 17 straight and have been outscored 551-281.
Crennel fired following Browns' 4-win season
The Cleveland Browns have fired coach Romeo Crennel following a 4-12 season.
The firing came one day after general manager Phil Savage was dismissed. Owner Randy Lerner met with Crennel on Monday morning and the team announced the coach's firing moments before a news conference was to begin.
Crennel had three years left on a contract extension he signed in January after the Browns went 10-6 and just missed the playoffs.
Crennel went 24-40 in four seasons with the Browns, who entered 2008 with huge expectations but collapsed amid a series of injuries and uneven play on offense and defense. They didn't score an offensive touchdown while losing their last six games and posted their fifth season of at least 10 losses in six years.
Although Crennel's dismissal had been expected for some time, Lerner waited until after the season out of respect for the 61-year-old coach and former defensive coordinator, who had never been a head coach at any level before taking over the Browns in 2005.
Lerner is expected to make a strong run at former Pittsburgh Steelers coach Bill Cowher, who has been working as a studio analyst for CBS since stepping down following the 2006 season. Cowher has given no indication he is ready to return to coaching.
Crennel was regarded as the top coordinator available when the Browns hired him shortly after they brought in Savage. Crennel accepted Lerner's offer in the hours after winning his third Super Bowl as New England's defensive coordinator. Crennel won two previous Super Bowl rings as an assistant coach with the New York Giants.
Crennel's vast experience, defensive knowledge and even-keeled demeanor were vital at the time for the Browns, who were coming off a 4-12 season under Butch Davis. Cleveland went 6-10 in Crennel's first year and just 4-12 in 2006, when they lost six of their last seven games.
But after a 10-6 season in 2007, Crennel was given the contract extension through the 2011 season. With an explosive offense and six Pro Bowlers, the Browns were tagged as one of the league's rising teams entering '08. They were rewarded with five prime-time TV appearances but their schedule proved to be too much.
They were also ravaged by injuries as quarterbacks Derek Anderson and Brady Quinn were lost for the season, forcing Crennel to start recently signed Bruce Gradkowski in the season finale at Pittsburgh. The Browns were beaten 31-0, dropping Crennel to 0-8 in his career against the Steelers -- the only full-time Browns coach not to beat Cleveland's rival.
Crennel was genuinely respected by the Browns. The players referred to him as RAC, his initials, and were disappointed they didn't play better for him.

Someone had to pay for the collapse during the last 5 games of the season, in which they lost to 4 very beatable teams after winning at NE and Ten. This is a minor relief for Jets fans, but unfortunately it's just a move to keep Favre for another year.

It'll be interesting to see if he gets another job and how long it will take for him to get a job. Know that he's a guy who will rat out a former employee, will anybody trust him in their locker room?
And yeah, Pats are cheaters, Belicheat, karma, bla bla bla off. Answer the question - knowing he's a rat, will any other coaches trust him enough to let him be a part of their coaching staff?
Parcells would have told him to go for it, not called out the punt team.
