Yeah I guess there is more love for Dirk here than I thought. Maybe playing often against the Mavs has given Spurs fans an appreciation of him. It's other NBA fans who I guess follow the media's storylines and don't like him much.

Dirk is a class guy (though exercise bike and the Utah Jazz may disagree with that). Not everyone likes how he plays, but Mav fans know we are lucky to have him.

Dirk seems like an alright person. I don't see the bike incident as that big of a deal. It was just his frustration that his team blew a 2-0 lead. I would not mind seeing Dirk win a le. Granted I don't like him as much when he is dropping 50 on the Suns but whatever.

well, of course. it's not dirk that we hate about the mavs. it's the cheap shots like terry, stackhouse and cuban.
