Good job Detroit for getting the job done out there tonight. Not much to say about this game, other than that if Orlando is so elite, then shouldn't they have won this game?

Rasheed Wallace was the best center in this game, even though he only had 16 points and 6 rebounds, that obviously got the job done better than 18 points and 18 rebounds didn't it?

Advice for Orlando: When Rashard Lewis is your leading scorer in a game, you're not going to win.

Good job Detroit. Although, this is a game they should have won easily. Nothing personal against Orlando. They're just not elite especially if they didn't win this game. And what happened to Jameer Nelson? I thought he was putting up All-Star numbers? 4-for-12 from the floor? 9 points? Nope. Nothing personal against Orlando, but there are no All-Stars on this team.

Again, nothing personal against Orlando, but they just ran into a better, deeper, and more talented veteran team.

Ain't Dwight Howard an All-NBA 1st team member this season for sure? He is an All Star starter, take some rest, SD.

Per SpursDynasty, if any team considered elite loses a single game, they fall from elite status. I am sure he eliminated the Lakers from elite (if he ever had them there) when they lost to the Magic. Wonder if he did the same when Orlando beat San Antonio?

Just enjoy the Baghdad Bob of Spurs talk, he's more fun than a barrell full of monkeys.

No way should Rasheed be starting over Howard in the All Star game.

Who said he should? Even SpursDynasty probably wasn't that dumb.

For the Magic: Orlando showed some weaknesses today. They need to run more sets for Rashard Lewis, establish him, and then use Howard off that spacing he creates. Howard needs to go early, as he did in the second half, to get his shot off. He needs to pass out of bad situations (where he catches the ball) and re-post. He did neither most of the game. In the postseason last year, he didn't learn until game three and it was too late to beat the Pistons.

Without a point guard or coach to open his eyes, the team is too easy to guard. Slashers that can score, outside of Turkoglu and Lewis, need to be added. John Paxon, Peja Stojakovic, and Mike Miller are good examples. These players need to be a threat with any open room. The model for the franchise should be the team around Shaquille O'Neal with the Lakers.

Mickael Pietrus was injured in this game--his wrist.

For the Pistons: Amir Johnson was confused and out of position. The Pistons relied on their post defense without the ability to create seperation from their opponent. Too many fouls were committed and Iverson spent much of the game on the bench. Without Stuckey's agressiveness, the Pistons do not build the lead they maintained for most of the game.

Rasheed Wallace received his 12th technical foul. That's a pace of 35 technical fouls with a suspension after 16 every other game (18 missed games).

That would be 10 games missed for technical foul suspensions.
