Spanoulis was told Raptors want to get rid of Joey Graham, Anthony Parker, Will Solomon, and Roko Ukic. So lots of play time available at position 1 and 2. Also they say they are very disappointed with defense of Calderon and would like to see if Spanoulis can take his place as starter at point guard. This would allow them try trade Calderon because they think maybe they would want trade him with JO.
Spanoulis was also told by Raptors GM that they will look to bring in coach that has personal connection with him soon.
