Well the other thing is Ruff, Mason is hardly ever on the court in crunch time. Tonight Pop played him in the 4th and he gave us the lead, then again almost bailed us out after not getting a shot for the last 4-5 minutes of the game. I don't understand why Pop doesn't try to run plays for him to get a shot.

I agree with Finley. When he's on his game he is huge for us. When off it can hurt us if he's left in the game to long, but when he's on you the Spurs should try to get him the ball a bit more too.

Agreed. I think Mason should see more plays called for him to create too, just to e up the offense and keep the D wondering. He carried the team at the start of the season, expand his role a little.

And your comments on Finley are spot on too - short, sharp 4-6 minute bursts of Finely are good, but when he plays longer stretches it gets ugly.

so from the box-score it looks like we lost for one reason...we were out-rebounded. i don't think oberto would've helped a lot in that department, but clearly, our Achilles heel was exposed. our front-line is WEAK. aside from tim, we don't have a consistent inside player. oberto's mediocre, thomas is old and slow (but savvy), and bonner is not a force inside. so what's new? this was our weak point going in to the season and it remains a weak point. i don't blame this loss on tim or any other player. we desperately need another muscular/athletic big man. without one, we'll lose some games like this....and we'll have trouble contending.
