Alright, we get it. Howver, he did not win the championship.
Sorry for this thread, I brought the issue up in a current one, but at least a half a dozen people posted after I did that Baylor never got a ring. I made a blog post recently based on first-hand experience (Yeah, I am that old) that proves beyond a reasonable doubt that Elgin did indeed get a championship ring. You can argue all you want he never won one on the court, and I will agree, but check out the facts in my blog. He did get one as he was on the Laker roster when LA got their first le:

It is not uncommon for an injured player to receive a ring, here is a post of mine from that other thread.
I guess my next step is to try to get my blog in the NBA or Elgin's hands so history may be corrected. There aren't many videos of Elgin in action, but here are a couple. I hope this thread doesn't die in the queue quickly so more people may see it.
Edit: Oh, check out the comments on my blog too. I'll write another topic soon. The Fox site has very few Spurs fans posting, so maybe some of you could help out their faithful few with a little support.

Agreed with Chieflion.
Getting a ring is not the same as winning a championship.
