Step 1 on righting a wrong: Elgin Baylor did get a NBA championship ring

Sorry for this thread, I brought the issue up in a current one, but at least a half a dozen people posted after I did that Baylor never got a ring. I made a blog post recently based on first-hand experience (Yeah, I am that old) that proves beyond a reasonable doubt that Elgin did indeed get a championship ring. You can argue all you want he never won one on the court, and I will agree, but check out the facts in my blog. He did get one as he was on the Laker roster when LA got their first le:

It is not uncommon for an injured player to receive a ring, here is a post of mine from that other thread.

Phil Jackson has two rings as a player. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phil_Jackson He cowrote a book about the 1969-70 New York Knicks championship, a season he missed entirely due to injury, http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/NYK/1970.html yet he got a ring for it! He played for them the year before and a few years afterward. Elgin getting one for playing 9 games is not unthinkable.

I guess my next step is to try to get my blog in the NBA or Elgin's hands so history may be corrected. There aren't many videos of Elgin in action, but here are a couple. I hope this thread doesn't die in the queue quickly so more people may see it.
