Do the marriage proposal stories have to be legit? I have a funny one but I wouldn't call it legit
This is absolutely not Spurs related but don't tell me to move the thread - I own the place
I need help with a writing project that I'm doing today.
I need real life experiences about online dating (both good and bad), as well as marriage proposal stories.
I don't need anything too long, but if you have a brief story that you want to share and I can use your first names in the article, then please post them here or PM me.

My wife and I met online at Match.com - we first met up after the Mavs @ Rockets game in 2006. She had gone to a friends and I was updating her on the score because some of the people that were supposed to be there were late. After they finished watching the game, we met up at IHOP and talked for a few hours. The next day we had our first actual date and spent around 9 hours together at various places. We took a trip to California the next July, where I asked her father for permission to ask her to marry me - which he said yes. A week later we were at a friends house in Tahoe, and I was having a terrible tooth ache. We went out to dinner and then went to a cliff top overlooking the lake at sundown - that's where I asked her to marry me. We've been together just over two years, and married since August - loving every minute of it!

First off, I have a friend that met his current girlfriend while playing World of Warcraft. They seemed to hit it off quite well online. After a few months, she decided to come down and visit. After he met her, they went all over the place here in San Antonio, and then about 2 months later, they came to the conclusion that they needed to be around each other more often and decided to live together. She moved all the way from West Virginia to be with him. Things are looking good for them so far.
