On the Gooden tip, WTF are the Bulls doing with Ty Thomas? They are refusing to play and develop him, so could he be available? As a cheap, low-risk proposition I'd definitely give him a go - I have a feeling he's got a low BBIQ (can't be sure as I haven't seen enough of him), but the kid can rebound and block shots.

For as long as Gooden has been in the league you would think he could defend. With Gooden on our roster he would make Matt and Fab look better in practice. Who knows maybe even make Matt more confident. Gooden doesnt score enough points to overshadow his lack of defensive knowledge. And they got Mike over there trying to teach him. Only thing I can figure is he wants to play for Nellie somewhere, some how.
Gooden was only hidden in a good defensive system with the Cavs when he was there. Now he is with the Bulls, he pretty much sucked ass. Cavs gm= genius.
Dumped both Gooden and Hughes to the Bulls and received Ben Wallace and Wally who are now expiring contracts this season. Total capspace from Wally and Ben would be close to 30 million.
^ Ben Wallace contract expires in 2010.
Well, that would be better then. That makes Cavs GM more of a genius.
