I think Tmac has officially given up on the Rockets. The critics would always say that Tmac just didn't get any help in the regular and post-season. That was true--but now he HAS the help and there are two problems:
1. His body/mind is failing him and he can't/won't explode to the rim (physical and mental).
2. He has given up on the Rockets. He does not have the fire/drive/heart to prove critics wrong.
Unless he goes insane in the posteason attacking the iron and hitting his J-shot---he is done in Houston.

I still think they will make Western conference finals unless they have to play Lakers before then. This team ran off a load of wins after x-mas last year.
You should've seen the threads rocket s were creating in the preseason. Ron Artest was supposed to be their savior.

Nothing personal against Houston, but this was not a game they were expected to win. Toronto was just beating a team they were supposed to beat, no surprises there.
The most correct decision Dawson (former GM of rockets) has ever made was just re-signing Tmac with 20m/yr average contract, it helps other teams. If he hadn't re-sign him, I am not sure how many teams would offer tmac MLEs or even 10m/yr contracts. Tmac isn't worth that of course.
To be honest Tmac is still a good role player and still able to score when there is no defense on him. He deserves much more than a LLE, 2-3m perfect reflects his real value.

You know what I think the issue is here. The Rockets defense is still pretty good but their offense is horrible. When Adleman said we have to go back to playing the motion offense, this is when we started to suck. Last year Adleman was calling plays from the bench and there was still a lot of T-Mac pick and roll.
Message to Adleman. Forget the motion offense for your first string squad. They will never get it. Understand? Capiche? NEVERRRRRRRRRR!!! Go back to what works during last year's 22 game winning streak you dork!
