This is why I was laughing hard when one of the talking heads (don't remember whether it was ESPN or TNT) was referring to Manu as the Spurs' best payer. The guy lays so many eggs it is ing ridiculous. Just because he pays well once in 4 nights, and the Spurs seem dominant when he does that, people think he's the difference. Well, he doesn't make a difference in all the other games. Duncan and Parker OTOH show up 75% of the time.

6 points, 2-6 shooting, 3 TOs? And people want him on the all-star team. He was the biggest reason why we couldn't get past LA last year, and if he keeps this up we aren't getting out of the West this year either.

Yep. My love for Manu is based on past performances....Lately he's been woefully inconsistent. I know he still WANTS to win and contribute, but he's just lost a step and his outside shooting is not as reliable as we'd like. Poor Manu.
