So you have a source that tells you he is in...but you are already apologizing for being potentially wrong?
Fail.
I have a very reliable inside source confirming that he will be in the shoot out. Believe me or not just wanted to share this with y'all.
*also if the contestants have already been named I'm sorry and I feel like an idiot
So you have a source that tells you he is in...but you are already apologizing for being potentially wrong?
Fail.
Thought he meant that if the names for contestants were already named (that do include Mason) than he is apologizing for breaking what he thought was news to us.
Thank you.
And Bonner?
Awesome if it happens.
It will suck if they don't pick him to go the way he's been shooting lights out from 3.
Name your source.
I hope it's not true...
Mason needs to continue to be underrated and ignored by the league. Guys like Kapono and Q-Rich just fell off after their "coming out parties" at the three-point shootout.
I hope Mason isn't invited.
Mason deserves it...but I think he will continue to ball regardless of if he goes or not...just because those other guys flopped after they went doesn't mean that Rogde will too
Good for Mason, if true. Should increase his commercial appeal and = more $$.
My lack of sleep once again comes back to haunt me.....![]()
I would love to see that, but the fact of the matter is. We have had great 3 point shooters for years and the people show us no love, because we are the SPURS?..WTF?...![]()
it would be well deserved and great for him. he really had an invisible career before coming to SA, it should be so pleasant for him to have some recognition.
Wait, is that Tolliver pouting????
Hey, he might actually win it...seeings how he shoots well from distance everywhere except an actual NBA game.
You can't name inside sources, or else they will stop being your sources.
+1
It will be good for him!!
His career has changed drastically since he's gotten to SA.

So is Tolliver's...
Ma$on's professional bballer story is a Cinderella one, in the last 2 months, from a no-stats nobody on a lottery team to a starter on a top team, a top 3G shooter, and now maybe in the All-Star 3G shootout.
I'm sure lots of NBA wannabe's in the D-league and elsewhere are encouraged.
Yup....
Sometimes it takes the right team at the right time!!
I'm happy for him. He has done everything and more that the Spurs have ask and expected of him.

I'm calling it right now, Mason will WIN the 3pt shootout - he is a brilliant set-foot shooter with a mega-quick release, so the contest will suit him perfectly.
I hope I get a Spur for this if I'm right!![]()
I have mixed feelings on whether or not he would do well. He is a catch and shoot/off screen shooter. His shot is pretty flat too. Usually its the shooters with the textbook form and nice high arcing shot that do well.
