Just a proof that every good team can lose to bad teams.
Hollinger would disagree. Math formulas can accurately predict any result.
And Cav's lose because of travelling call on James. Here's what Caron Butler said:
"I definitely knew he traveled, but I didn't know they were going to call it," Butler said about what happened Sunday. "That was one of them situations in which a great player made a move, good officiating, and they called the call. And I was like, 'Oh, man, there is a God.' "
The Knicks beat the Celtics 100-88 & The Grizzlies beat the Mavs 102-82.
Imagine if the Spurs had lost that bad to either of those teams...how would SpursTalk react?
It would be the end of the NBA season for the Spurs from the ST perspective!!
LOL!!!!!!
He beat the Wizards on a play back in the '06 playoffs when he took about 4.5 steps to get to the rim.
That's been my point for every since I've started posting here.
It will happen in an 82 game season!
I guess the Celtics suck now!!

they lost 4 of their last 6 games.
So much for Rondo over Tim on mvp race......
Yes they have....so I guess they are not going to make playoffs?

Washington over Cleveland isn't an upset....Cleveland isn't as good as their record or as good as most people give them credit for. When they actually have to play and not have every call given to them by the refs, they're mediocre. LeBron is a ballhog.
Dallas is on the decline, so no upset there. And great teams drop games to bad teams from time to time, so nothing huge there.
They should tank the season, yes?
that's normal after a long winning streak. When the Lakers 33 wins in a row ended in 1972, we lost 4 of 6: http://www.basketball-reference.com/...972_games.html there are plenty of other examples.
Here's hoping the Lakers don't join the upset party tonight! After the game, Fox Sports West is rebroadcasting game 7 of the 2000 WCF vs. the Blazers. No matter the result of tonight's game, I will go to sleep happy tonight!
I have to disagree with you. The Cavs are a good team!
They have always played good defense and Mo Williams has given them a legit and consistent second offensive threat. They did take Boston to 7 games in last season playoffs and they will be a tough out in the Eastern Conference!!

The results on tonight's games really surprised me. I hope the Portland x Lakers game ends in a upset too.
Cleveland may not be as good as their record (teams with that gaudy of a record rarely are), but they're still one of the best teams in the east. And the Qiz have been just terrible this year.
Yeah, it's an upset. Saying otherwise is moronic.
Thanks, you just jinxed it...
Good day today for the Spurs standings wise. POR and LAL are playoff contenders so a loss from either of them would benefit the Spurs in seedings.
Celtics suck gay leprechaun ass!
FWIW, Boston College also beat UNC today.
Port 46
LAL 42
january fool.
Pistons finally pulled off a damn win on sunday barely though.
lll NOPE!!
