Sick. If Manu had made that play on Dirk in 2006, instead of fouling, the Spurs might have another ring. Tonight's play was probably Manu's most impressive block since he's been with the Spurs. He made some great blocks when he was younger, playing in Europe, but tonight's was...well....just sick.

Manu tonight looked more like the old manu to me for the first time in a long time.

his drives to the basket were agressive, he caught nice air on his jumps, the layups and block were vintage manu.

Hopefully he starts kicking it in gear, if he does and Hill keeps going, and Bonner keeps playing great, then this team is DAMN good.

Or if Manu would have just let Dirk lay it up without going for the block . . .

The Suns without Amare and then the Heat.

    Man ..............

I guess his ankle is ok. Nice block.

My favorite part was the stunned Heat players that didn't get back on D. Stupid s.

The only shooting guard block I can remember that was better was that one time Jaren Jackson blocked Rodney Rogers on the fast break back in '98 or '99. That was one of the best blocks I've ever seen.

    P.S.

Sad that Rogers is now paralyzed.

Hopefully this game kind of gives Manu a kick in the pants.

When he wanted to, he drove by people pretty easily and got to the basket. He just didn't do it enough.

Heres to Manu realizing this and busting out Manu 05 and driving almost everytime he has the ball.

I was at the game, and when Manu got that block, I was totally out of control , that was awesome!!! I got deadly stares, being among long time Heat season holders. But I did not care, I was proudly wearing my spurs shirt and I have to admit a broad smile on my face -).
    Man that block was sweet!

I think his legs are still heavy. But he's coming along... Against Philly he had just one drive that I recall. This game he had at least two and the block. He's getting springy...
    Gotta have patience...

Manu needs to work in getting the "eurostep" back, you know those two gigantic steps where everybody think he walks but he doesn't? since he started working in the midrange jumper he kinda lost that. Rember when he got to the Spurs he either get to the rim or shoot a 3, now he just shoot a 3 or a long 2.

caribbean glad you got to go

Not only I got to see the game, but my co-worker who is a season holder actually game me the ticket when I thought I had to pay $40, I could not believe it!

My Spurs attending record is still clean. 4/4 spurs victory.
