They exposed them. But you gotta give the celts bench credit for not existing as well.

    rattled, petrieified, exposed,
They're in a rough spot right now:
luckily for them January play won't mean much compared to how teams are playing heading into the post-season.

They still destroyed you in last year's finals

Exactly, just as Detroit exposed the Lakers when they beat us earlier. We recovered, Boston will. However, they won't have HCA in the east, and will suffer yet another ECF finals loss. Don't let that 17-3 finals record mislead you, they are 20-11 in the ECF finals; losing many times with NBA best record, or at least best record in the east. The Celtic mysitique is easy to debunk if you look further. It all hinges on the Russell era. Everyone who played then is either dead or eligible to collect social security.

I give LA credit for putting the Celtics in their place and knocking them down off cloud 9 but some Lakers fans just need to shut the up. It wasn't all them. The C's bench comes to mind. Posey, etc..

I don't think the Lakers loss really did much.

I think the Celtics have some seriously tired legs after the fast start. And, the long post-season last year and the fast start this year gave them a false sense of invincibility. Everything from tired legs to overconfidence to teams playing their best against them to a lack of a bench is all collectively adding up right now.

Not saying the Lakers loss didn't do anything. But, doubtful a mental check would last this long, especially with some of their losses to bad teams.

The Hawks exposed the Celtics last season. The Lakers just reminded everyone.

They weren't playing well before the LA loss. They were just getting by beating bad teams. The Lakers loss exposed that but in itself it didn't do much. Even during their win streak, they were struggling.

Damn I wish I could have heard that bas Tommy Hiensen and Moan. This team has been exposed. Just sag off of Rondo and attact their interior and your good. People bought into the hype of this team last year and this year but the Lakers knocked them off their horse now everyone is kicking them while their down...
all he did was blame the refs man. Its rediculous how much he blames the refs I wana kill him when I watch the celtics play

No one or team can stay hot throughout the whole season, I mean there is disticntly a period of time for those teams to suck. Celtics have lost some unthinkable games recently though, they are still clearly the best team in the league. Mavs are the seacond best next to celtics.

And we still destroyed you in last years WCF's, and many more from years past !!!

Again, Lakers fans with their revisionist history of last year's WCF. It was close series even though it ended in 5 games. So it wasn't a destruction..be realistic!!

Also, the Spurs stopped the Lakers in 2003 and won a championship.

The Spurs-Lakers have been a good rivalry in the 2000's and I'm looking for them to get at again in this year's WCF.

    Thanks, Shadowflames!

I'm just annoyed at the Lakers fans with the revisionist history about last year's WCF. It was a close 5 game series. They won it fair and square...but to say they destroyed the Spurs is flat out wrong!!

    Thanks, Lefty!!

At least you understand what I meant.....

There was a blowout from each team and three games decided by 8 points or less in that series. That makes it a close series!!!
