That's the truth. I'm glad Pop is giving him the minutes now so he'll be ready come playoff time.

Final: Spurs 106, Clippers 84
By Joe Alexander
The Spurs got their defense going in the fourth quarter - largely with bench players. That was enough to lock up a 106-84 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.
Tony Parker led the Spurs with 19 points, Roger Mason Jr. had 18, Tim Duncan had 15 and Manu Ginobili had 13.
FOURTH QUARTER
It would be good to see Fabricio Oberto to get back into the groove. A positive sign was his basket with 1:42 left. That was his first made field goal since Dec. 9 and his first point since Dec. 12.
Fabricio Oberto and Jacque Vaughn are in with 5:09 remaining and the Spurs leading by 20. This is only the third time Oberto has gotten into a game since suffering from a sore foot.
Ime Udoka and Kurt Thomas don't get a lot of playing time, but they gave the Spurs some energy and defense in the fourth quarter. The Clippers made only one field goal in the first eight minutes of the quarter.
Manu Ginobili was making plays and Kurt Thomas was blocking shots as the Spurs opened the fourth quarter with a 7-0 run to grab an 82-69 lead. Ginobili had two free throws, a driving basket and an assist on an Ime Udoka 3-pointer.
The Spurs had one of their three-guard combinations on the floor to start the fourth quarter: George Hill, Roger Mason Jr., Manu Ginobili, Ime Udoka and Kurt Thomas.
THIRD QUARTER
The Spurs scored exactly twice as many points in the third quarter as they did in the first. The 32-point outburst gave them a 75-69 lead. The usual Spurs defense still wasn't taking hold.
Michael Finley has basically gotten run over three times in the first six minutes of the second half without a foul being called. The fact that he has hit three 3-pointers in that same stretch probably makes him feel better. Then Finley set a pick that left the Clippers' Mardy Collins on the ground.
The Spurs jumped in front 53-46 while the Clippers missed their first five shots of the second half before the Clippers got back-to-back baskets from Eric Gordon and Al Thornton.
The Spurs opened the second half with an 8-0 run to grab a 51-44 and they look a lot more serious than they did the first half. Tim Duncan had the first basket, then Matt Bonner and Michael Finley hit 3-pointers.
SECOND QUARTER
The Spurs never looked like themselves defensively the first half but trail by only a point and halftime with the Clippers leading 44-43.
The Spurs are starting to make some shots but haven't slowed down the Clippers. Marcus Camby has back-to-back baskets and the Clippers lead 41-37.
Roger Mason Jr. has three 3-pointers and leads the Spurs with 11 points. The Clippers lead 37-33.
Tim Duncan scored his first points and the 7:00 mark of the second quarter after missing his first four shots. He scored again the next time down the floor.
It appears Gregg Popopvich is looking for defense on the Clippers' shooters. He has Bruce Bowen and Ime Udoka on the floor at the same time. They are in with George Hill, Roger Mason Jr. and Tim Duncan.
Manu Ginobili is chipping in on offense. He made two free throws and hit a 3-pointer. The Spurs' defense still isn't getting stops. The Clippers lead 30-23.
FIRST QUARTER
The Spurs shot only 26 percent the first quarter and found themselves trailing the Clippers 22-16 at the end of the quarter. Tony Parker and Roger Mason Jr. were a combined 5 of 13 from the field - the rest of the Spurs were a combined 1 of 10.
The Clippers are making better than 55 percent from the field and just out-shooting the Spurs. The Clippers lead 20-16.
Tony Parker and Roger Mason Jr. combined to score the Spurs' first 12 points. They have a 3-pointer each. The Clippers are off to a solid shooting start and lead 14-12.
all spurs fans around the world were excited about george hills little dunk lol i was too XD
good win. shows how good the spurs can be when they are playing with chemistry and full potential. duncan and ginobili could have played better but the role players picked up the slack again.
Repeat after me:
Have the courage to change the things I can,
The serenity to accept the things I can't,
And the wisdom to know the difference.
Seriously, work on your stress because I'm sure it affects your life negatively in other ways (such as personal relationships). Believe me, I know because I used to stress far too much. But I've learned and grown and forcefully changed myself, and now life is much better.
....Terry just hit a 3 to put the Mavs-Knicks game away
I said pretty much the same thing, that we'd turn it up a notch in the third and pull away.![]()
and playing a piece of crap team.
![]()
Sorry, but not it doesn't.
Oh bruce didn't score...too bad..
Actually not that good a win. The Clipshow is a horrible basketball team - talented individuals, but no chemistry, and the worst D I've seen this year... even worse than OKC, and that's saying something!
How would you know? People may react to your stress without you knowing it.
Anyway, I'm just trying to help you. Take my advice or not, that's up to you. You can lead a horse to water, but he'll only drink if he's thirsty. Seyla.
If you win by 22, it's a good win no matter who you are playing.
Weird photo...

Any game you win where your starters can sit out tyhe 4thQ is a good game.
I agree. Let them rest for Sundays game.![]()
someone needs to photoshop in some tutus
More like good second half. I was pleased the with second half effort on both offense and defense.
Kurt Thomas...17min, 9pts, 9rebs, 2blk.![]()
Second consecutive game where the supporting players performed well (at least in the 2nd half).. the SPurs are showing better cohesion and now its trying to get a more consistent effort specially on the defense. Pop has been doing a pretty good job juggling the minutes and everyone seems to be responding. I'm really pleased with KT's continued solid play and Oberto seems to be getting back into game shape. Finley continues to turn back Father Time. Mason is an assasin. GHill is a scrappy kid. Bonner is reborn. A satisfying 2nd half to watch.
Nice win. Just got back from the game where my wife, friend and I were selected as the Super Fans of the night. High fiving the team during the introductions was awesome. Ginobili is ridiculously casual with fans, even asked my wife when she was due (she is 38 weeks pregnant).
Anyways, Spurs played extremely well tonight. They are now a whopping 22-1 when I attend games. My only loss was when I brought a friend who failed to inform me that he was 0'fer like 20 in attending all pro sports. I blame it on him. GO SPURS GO!!! AND THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME AND MY WIFE A NIGHT TO NEVER FORGET!!!
