Are you talking about this season only?
If so, Lopez still has 7+ seasons of disappointment to show before he can catch up to Kwame.
After Robin Lopez's 0 rebounds and 4 fouls in 5 minutes performance last night, he has taken the le as worst player in the NBA. Reason being:
He has more fouls (42) then he does rebounds (40) this season........that coupled with the fact he's 7 feet tall makes his tiness truly epic.

I hadn't checked his stats recently but you may be onto something. Two assists in 265 minutes while playing for the Suns? Six rebounds per 40 minutes for a supposed rebounding specialist? He's rebounding worse than George Hill.
Damn, Kerr sure can pick'em . . .
Kwame Brown's legacy may end up being the name of the guy traded for Pau Gasol. One more sucker trade, and it's booked. What do the Pistons need, and what GM is a sucker?
Remember in the preseason when all the "experts" said he was going to be better than his brother?![]()
Wasn't Brooke the more talented of the two anyway?
You might have gotten your names mixed up.
From what I had read, most experts thought Brook was more polished offensively while Robin was "more athletic with better upside". And quite a few said Robin would turn into a better pro.
I've seen about 3 or 4 New Jersey games broadcasted here, Brooke Lopez seems pretty decent young bigman, solid, unflashy yet focused and fundamentally sound.
I thought the Suns management fancied Lopez and the chief backup for Shaq?
when they said "upside" they probably looking further than just a few months...
monosylab is right virtually every idiot on ESPN said Robin would be the better pro. Brook is on my fantasy team and has been great since being moved to the starting lineup.
Brooke has always been way more polished offensively than his brother. Robin was seen as that hustle type player, how that translates to being a top 20 pick i have no idea. Just like Joakim Noah, they are garbage players. Whoever proclaimed that Robin is better offensively is a f'in moron
timvp, per 36 minutes, Robin is averaging 2.9 defensive rebounds, the biggest reason why Kerr said he picked him. Per 36 minutes, Steve Nash is averaging 2.9 defensive rebounds. So Steve Nash is just as good a defensive rebounder as Robin Lopez
There has also been 10-15 passes that flew right through his uncoordinated hands that Nash got credited with a turnover for, so his stats are somewhat sugar coated.
And you're right, Kerr can 'em, Robin Lopez and Tragic Dragic were brilliant.
yeah, only a totally clueless GM can pick a big man, who fouls on such a high rate.
a foul every 6.2 minutes.....never a player fouled that much.......let's check........yes he must be top of the list.....no wait, there's another player even better....one foul every 5.4 minutes.....let's check his name........ughh, it's Ian Mahinmi.....ummpff......well, at least RC didn't use a 1st round pick for him......
You're getting the names mixed up. Robin is the crappy one, and he is not a hustle player idk where he got that le but he does not hustle at all. Hustle players grab rebounds here and there.
They fancied him as the most "NBA ready" big man available, and his defense and rebounding would be great at backing Shaq up.
your right my bad...the one with the side show Bob hair is trash. In college he grabbed a few boards, blocked some shots and took charges and for some reason Kerr thought he was exactly what the Suns needed![]()
I think "a few" boards might be taken the wrong way. He was a 7 footer in the Pac-10 (smallest conference in basketball) and had brother to box out the other teams best rebounder, and only averaged 5 rebounds a game. IMO that translates to a horrible rebounder in the NBA.
The sad part is the majority of the Suns fan base bought the bill of goods Kerr sold and were raving about Lopez. Idk if you remember him but Lopez is the next Hot Rod Williams.

Is he that bad, or is he just getting the rookie treatment before the refs back off on the fouls? He does seem aggressive which will lead to fouls, but it seems like some players just get lots of fouls called on them no matter what. Some players just have to be standing in the key and they'll pick up 3 fouls in minutes. You know, the opposite of the Jordan rules...
He has more fouls than rebounds, the stat is more a statement about how poorly he rebounds for his size than how much he fouls. And no, it is not rookie treatment. It's a lack of good defensive positioning and effort which results in him being out of position and forced to foul.
His fouls, just like Amare's, aren't about being over aggressive. They're about being lazy on defense and not moving your feet enough. I'm tired of him getting credit for being a hustle player when he isn't.
so the Suns back up bigs are Lopez, Armundson, and Dudley...ouch
Amundson has played very well recently (compared to the other bigs at least) and is the team's best per minute rebounder. He needs to work on his free throws and mid range shot (and work on it a lot) and he'll be considered a poor man's Millsap.
He defends undersized 4's who are extremely athletic (David West) and oversized 3's that use their height (Lewis) very well. Underrated player with a lot of heart.
but Danilo, their bigs still suck. No depth at C behind Shaq. that wasn't an issue when D'antoni knew how to coach with Amare at center, but now they have a coach who doesn't know how to coach period.
sounds like the typical description of a white player in the nba![]()
