    at Manu blocking his 6 year old nephew's shot. The kid actually made a good reverse layup. I wonder if any of the scouts were home today . I hope the Spurs give all the players' prospects, er, relatives some Spurs gear. No harm in building a little influence for down the road...

    Yeah that was cute. Bet the kid thought he had a shot before he was blocked 30 ft. And with Ian freaking in the way I can't help but ask; has he been seen by a specialist?

    His nephew couldn't play for . I hit like 10 3's on him and blocked ALL of his shots.

    Video keeps messing up for me. Gets stuck at the Bonner interview. After the 3rd refresh made it to Finley's first 2 questions before stopping..

    On that second set of practice shots Bowen goes without missing =). Manu is the first to miss =/.

    Awww.....that was sweet with Manu and his nephew....the youngster is a cutie too. Is that one of his brother's son or probably on Many's side.

    Bonner is cute too. he reminds me of Opie.

    Spurs forward/center Matt Bonner, who is usually in a good mood anyway, was a little extra jovial after practice Friday morning.

    Shortly after the Spurs polished off the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday night, Florida finished strong to beat Oklahoma in the BCS le game. Bonner, a former Florida basketball player, rushed home from the AT&T Center in time to catch the end of the football game.

    Bonner was also asked his thoughts on how Florida would match up against Texas:

    Bonner's teammates, of course, are aware of his college affiliation. Michael Finley, a fellow member of the Spurs' starting lineup, talked about being around Bonner on the morning after the BCS le game.
