Underachieving is the back bone of that organization since the dynasty. So Vinny fits right in with the Bulls. I think with so much negative back-lash to teams ditching their coaches on a whim, Vinny might be in the windy city for a while.
Chicago sucks, and they're being clearly outplayed by Oklahoma City right now. I know Deng has been hurt, but this team is seriously underachieving.

I don't think they're underachieving, I think they're performing about as well as should be expected. They have a pretty subpar roster.
I'm still trying to figure out how we lost to them earlier this season.
I don't see why anyone would expect Chicago to do anything. They have no semblance of a post presence, no backup PG with Hinrich out; they just don't have the manpower to be anything other than what they are.
John Paxson has been known for patience. Who fires a coach in his 1st season?
Del Negro will finish out the season but he won't be back for 09-10. And they should just go ahead and pay Ben Gordon. That man has earned his money.
Shaq-fu wasn't playing and we're one of the top 5 worst teams in the NBA when Shaq isn't playing.
Too bad Pax doesn't have an unreasonable dislike of Del Negro like you do, or he'd get Vinny's ass out of there.
looks like that lamarcus aldridge for tyrus thomas trade is working out well for them.....
What owner hires a coach that has absolutely "0" head coaching experience? A cheap-ass, bargain-basement owner like Jerry Rheinsdorf.
He had a chance to get D'Antoni and blew it.
