I agree. And I ing hate Vince Young. He was also a better passer in college while not taking 3 seconds to load it up.
Tebow might occasionally barrell over some defensive back to get that extra couple yards but Vince Young would avoid the defender all together to get that extra 20 yards! Try to argue with that florida fans. That ing chubby faced 5 yr old haircut is NO Superman, that le belongs to VY.
I agree. And I ing hate Vince Young. He was also a better passer in college while not taking 3 seconds to load it up.
Anyone who would even think Tebow is better than VY should kill themselves.
Do you say this because the Beavers never have a player to be in the type of discussions?
Their only good players come from the bin of players Texas, Tech, OU and A&M didn't want. ('Quiz Rodgers)
Tebow has more national championships and a heisman.
Young's stats:
YR Comp PA Yards TD INT RushA Yds Avg TD
2003 84 143 1,155 6 7 135 998 7.4 11
2004 148 250 1,849 12 11 167 1,079 6.5 14
2005 212 325 3,036 26 10 155 1,050 6.8 12
Tebow's stats:
2006 FLA 22 33 66.7 358 5 1
2007 FLA 234 350 66.9 3286 32 6
2008 FLA 192 298 64.4 2747 30 4

Not sure how anyone could say VY is far and away better...

Vince Young in a road game versus the "greatest team of all time"
30/40 267 passing
19-200-3 rushing
Led nation in passing efficiency in 2005. Only QB EVER to pass for 2500 and rush for 1000. His team was also the undisputed national champion because they went undefeated and defeated the only other undefeated team.
They can both battle for who has the crappier NFL career.
Hold the ing phone! First, Tebow really only has 1 championship to himself, he was just another runningback his first year (Chris Leak). Second, I don't remember Vince Young giving up TWO picks in the biggest game or even letting us down by not getting a first down when we needed it like Tebow did (Ole Miss?). Third, everyone knows Vince Young should have won the heisman especially since Reggie Bush wasn't even the best player on his sidelines that game (Lendale White). And finally, VY never needed to run around on the sidelines pumping his fists and screaming like he's some junior high player to get his team "pumped up". It's all a big show and I don't buy that .
Of course, VY is far and away the most clutch college QB to ever play the game. The guy dominated the so-called greatest team of all time in a road game in that team's city by throwing the best performance of all time at the mofos, capping off one of the most impressive undefeated seasons of all time including a 70-3 raping of the Buffs in the Big XII le game.
Tebow beat Choklahoma, the same Choklahoma that lost by the same margin to the Texas team that should have been beating Tebow's ass in the le game. Tebow also lost to Ole Miss, a team VY would have beaten as a 15 year old.
they will say that cause your on a board full of horns homers, i bet tebow never tryes to kill himself after a bad game, also vy1-2 agains the sooner tebow 1-0
As a starter Tim Tebow is 22-5. That is not as impressive as the following;
Vince Young 30-2
Matt Leinart 39- 2
Tommie Frazier 33-3
Ken Dorsey - 38-2
Let's try this again
Chooooooooooooookelahoma, where Nic Harris takes it up the bum...
Incorrect.
I don't understand how that matters. Tebow won the "big" game. And if you're claiming Vince Young always got first downs and never lost a game, well then maybe I should just stop trying.Second, I don't remember Vince Young giving up TWO picks in the biggest game or even letting us down by not getting a first down when we needed it like Tebow did (Ole Miss?).
Oh...you're one of thoseThird, everyone knows Vince Young should have won the heisman especially since Reggie Bush wasn't even the best player on his sidelines that game (Lendale White).

Uhm, actually correct. Tebow was 1/1 for 1 yard and 1 TD passing
10-39-1 rushing, a long of 10
People forget that Christ Leak was 25/36 passing for 213 yards and a TD.
Vince young lost 2 games as a starter, Tebow has lost 5 alreadyI don't understand how that matters. Tebow won the "big" game. And if you're claiming Vince Young always got first downs and never lost a game, well then maybe I should just stop trying.
2005 Heisman finalistOh...you're one of those
Reggie Bush
Matt Leinart
Vince Young
2007 Heisman finalist
Tim Tebow
Colt Brennan
Darren McFadden
Chase Daniel
Reggie, Matt and Young could have all won the heisman the past 2 seasons.

REALLY WHO DID HE LOSE TO.
BOOMER SOONER
Re-read what I replied to. He was not just another RB during the season.
So you concede the point. Thanks.Vince young lost 2 games as a starter
Are you seriously saying Tebow's 3286 passing yards, 32 passing TDs, 895 rushing yards, and 23 rushing TDs last year wouldn't have beat out VY if it was put up against Young's heisman contending season?2005 Heisman finalist
Reggie Bush
Matt Leinart
Vince Young
2007 Heisman finalist
Tim Tebow
Colt Brennan
Darren McFadden
Chase Daniel

3286 yards vs. 3036 yards
32 passing TDs vs. 26 passing TDs
895 rushing yards vs. 1050 rushing yards
23 rushing TDs vs. 12 rushing TDs
6 INT vs. 10 INT
Young had 4 more INTs in 22 less pass attempts.
He almost doubled VY's rushing TDs.
The only category where young has him beat is rushing yards.
lets look at it this way tebow is 6-1 or 5-2 agains there biggest rivals(fla st., ga, and tenn) vy had a loseing recored agains ou how is your biggest rival i hate tebow but he is the better collage player.
Let's even say Tebow isn't far and away better. It's so damn ridiculous to say VY is far and away better.
And wins. They were undefeated with a fairly tough schedule, unlike the cakewalk that Florida had this year, yet still lost to ing ole miss.
Uhm yes. You can't just look at stats. Tebow was the only one getting the ball down by the goal line, so of course he got all the TDs. VY had long runs in clutch situations
