He got to run a timeout?

I really like Hill and all, but I'm gonna come out and say I think Pop is not being hard enough on him. Pop had one foot half buried in Parker's ass for his first three seasons. He needs to regulate Hill and break him down to pieces, so he can rebuild him up to a stronger more determined player.
You can' handle Hill the same way you handled TP and Pop knows that. Parker was younger and needed to have someone ride his ass, but Hill isn't the same player TP is and his personality is different . I think Pop realizes this and isn't necessarily "taking it easy" on Hill. I think he just knows that maybe Hill is more mentally mature as a rookie then TP was. I think he is handling him similarily to how he treats Tim. Tim is his own harshest critic, so he doesn't need to be told by anyone what he needs to do or work on because he already knows.

I see the same qualities in Hill. He knows what he needs to improve on, what his weaknesses are, but also knows what he is capable of. For players like him, they don't respond to screaming and shouting the same way another player would and Pop has matured enough as a coach to know that he has manage everyone differently, but equally.

    still sucks for TP, though.
