I'd be more worried about the crazies that live in Detroit more than a little frost on the window.
It is just weather and you of all people should understand that. Man up and grow a pair.

I don't miss that kind of weather at all but it is nothing when you live up there all the time.

After awhile being here, you'll start having small talk with peeps you know about how "its a nice day out there" because its above 20 with no wind.
I had a manufacturing client in Wyoming that I'd go see every winter, and the weather would usually be in the single digits or low teens whenever I'd visit them. Whenever we'd go outside I'd be bundled up like an eskimo, and these guys would be wearing windbreakers...no gloves...no hats, and they'd be fine. Like clockwork they'd respond to my shivering frozen corpse with something like "yeah, seems cold, but you shoulda been here last week...THAT was cold."
I hate the cold.

The ed up thing is its going to seem warm when I'm in DC a few days later and its only in the 30s.
If I heard right (i dont pay attention to the weather report....at all), its supposed to get very cold here in Michigan next week.
As in, daily freezing. Dont know though.
Friday here is a HIGH of 7 degrees......7 ing degrees.
I grew up in New England and dealt with the winters pretty well. I spent years on the West Coast and then found myself back East for 2 years. It was horrible. When you're not used to that kind of cold it's much harder to deal with.
