you should have seen him in that game last season when madson made the mistake of pissing timmy off.![]()
Decided to watch the Spurs/Magic game last night and saw something I don't see often. Maybe I don't watch enough games since I'm a Suns fan, but for a couple plays towards the end, Timmy really worked at it. I'm not talking about the long jumper or the bank shot. He actually started banging with the defender to get his shot.
If you can get him to do this more often, I think the Lakers might have something to worry about. I never really saw him do this with Phoenix, even when shaq would guard him, not that it was necessary since the spurs always won.
Anyway, I like Angry Tim...

Duncan shows a lot more emotion on the court than people think he does. And, yes, when he's ticked it comes out in his game. Duncan getting angry is usually a good thing, he plays well with that burst of emotion. It can come from any source, but his best 'angry' play is if he's pissed at his own game. See game 7, '05 Finals, from the 6 minute mark in the 3rd for one of the best examples.
When he flails him arms trying to get a foul after he's had the ball cleanly stripped is also a good example.
You must be talking about Dirk too then.
This thread isn't about that. It's about Tim Duncan and his emotions.
I'm starting to dislike Duncan less and less. The reason:
The more I look at the comparative nature of the other so called "premium" big men, the more I've come to realize that they all ing suck in their own ways. Dirk's a girl of epic proportion. Amare is a clueless, selfish, moron. Boozer should be shot in the face with a .44 on general principle. Bosh is a pretender. None of them are good or great defenders. Bynum didn't take off like I thought.
Really, besides Duncan, there are only two all-star caliber bigs who I really respect and those are Dwight Howard and Millsap. And given that I only respect three guys it would be a shame to waste time hating on one of them. So at some point I'm going to have to put my contempt and jealousy aside and start liking Duncan more. It's already happening.
LMAO how funny is that considering you root for a team full of flopping gots.
You respect Millsap why? Because he sucks?
If by a team full of flopping gots you mean our 15th man, Jarron Collins.
off bro.
No, you're entire team outside of Williams.
LMAO bro
Welcome to the club. There's a lot to like if you really watch him. I don't see how any true fan of the game can't appreciate Duncan's game. There's something great about being that fundamentally sound on both ends of the court. And to be doing it as long and as consistently as he has is incredible.
