Stephen King, who is a diehard Redsox fan, was caught reading a book during 4 innings at Fenway Park. He was also caught sleeping, or nodding off, during one game.

That was this past season.

All I said was that baseball can be boring because there's long stretches where there's no action. And, I admit that I said that baseball was my least favorite of the three major sports.

That in no way implies that I don't like the sport.

Hockey, for example, is a sport I don't like. I've tried it several times, but I just can't get into it. Hence, I don't have a team that I root for in Hockey, because I don't give a about the sport.

King even wrote on his book "On Writing" that he always takes a book with him to the ball game because "sometimes you just need something to do" at a ballgame.

Baseball is great to watch on tv, but in person, its like a symphony of sport. Its awesome to watch in person.

Baseball is great in person because you can watch it, hold a conversation, have a great dog and beer. Its the ultimate sensory experience for us multi taskers.
