Baseball is great in person because you can watch it, hold a conversation, have a great dog and beer. Its the ultimate sensory experience for us multi taskers.

Just like I dont like calling Midge Steven, its hard for me not to call you Tpark. Yeah I agree, I have taken several dates to Astros games and they always have fun even if they arent huge baseball fans. You can talk get to know each other, drink, have some over priced food (but worth it), and get into the game when needed.

King even wrote on his book "On Writing" that he always takes a book with him to the ball game because "sometimes you just need something to do" at a ballgame.

I admittedly can't get into baseball until the Spurs season is over. When the Spurs are done, then the Cardinals are at the forefront. Although in August baseball takes a back seat to football.

I guess that's true for people that aren't big baseball fans. I disagree though. I listen to the Astros spring training games on the radio because they don't show on tv.
