he was good tonight..I got what I expected from him..
He didn't score the deciding points, but he did make the right decision under extreme pressure and successfully inbounded the ball to the player who did, Roger Mason. In a play designed for either Tony or Manu but w/c was defended well by the Lakers, Bonner improvised and exercised initiative to setup Mason for his heroics. Now that was a clutch play IMO.

How Bonner read that play was Horry-like, getting it to Mason in prime position to score.
As has been said all his points were in the first half, but he played well.
His defense was eh, decent, but needs to be alot better.
That being said, I wouldn't be shocked in the playoffs if KT was the man down the stretch that guards Bynum and Duncan on Gasol.
Any thoughts on Fab getting NO TIME at all? Spurs might as well only have 3 healthy bigs, the way Pop is acting.

That's because thomas is playing very well, I'm almost positive Oberto/Udoka/Bowen/Vaugn will all be shipped out for a legit big.
Bowen better not be shipped..we're already lacking defensively due to his lack of minutes..also, no other team could use him like we do..

My bad. And concerning Fab, I do consider Bonner and KT better bigs, but I still want him in, he still plays solid D, and has the best chem with Timmy.
bonner doesn't have to dominate to be appreciated.

Bonner can't play hard playoff defense.
He switches way too slow and has horrible court vision.

bonner was solid. he is almost automatic when wide open, decent defense and rebounding. that's all we need.
For what it's worth, Horry was at the game and was interviewed on LA TV -- said he was pulling for the Spurs.
me too. I only saw it one time, I don't have any way to re-watch stuff, but it looked like a highly dangerous passLooked like desperation to me.
If it were any body else he gets the credit for showing the ability to think quickly and get the ball out of his hands....Plan A went bad and there was no Plan B so Bonner made a Plan B. But because he is Bonner he doesnt get credit from most even when he does good things.
It was a pass that had little margin for error.. great catch by mason. Bonner had to exercise his best judgement when Manu and Tony were covered and he made the right play under extreme pressure. This will help build up his confidence. I'm sure Pop appreciates this sequence as well.
Bonner made the right decision in the face of good defense by the Lakers on the inbound.
