i r 6-3
is that with shoes?
183 cm
I think that's like 6-2
Thats the perfect height to play just about any and every sport.
To bring the ST average down a bit, I'm 5'9".
6'3
Lot's of really tall people here considering average height is 5'10 for american men, and more like 5'9 for our European posters and 5'7 for our latino Spur fans from San Antonio.
That's 6 feet even. To make the conversion, put "183 cm in feet" in google.
Yep. In Argentina it's 6-2 though.![]()
I would venture a bet that most people aren't lying about their heights like some people are saying.
People are probably drawn to a basketball site because they're fans of the sport, and most fans have played ball, or had designs on playing ball at some point in their lives. Basketball players are normally taller than average, so their fans very well could be as well.
I'm 5'9 -5'10. Closer to 5'9 than 5'10 though, I just don't remember the exact fraction.
My husband is 6'0 even, or just a shade above. If I'm in 2+ inch heels, we're even or I'm taller.
As for short guys - I don't think there is a cultural thing about dating shorter guys - I dated several guys my height or shorter, and that was no big deal. I know if given a preference American women seem to be more attracted to taller guys - probably as some biologically driven impulse to seek good breeding stock, like taller = more virile or something. Don't know the exact reason, but studies have shown that before.
I've found that guys who are shorter than me tend to have a bigger problem with dating me, than I do with dating them. I'm generally drawn to taller people (physically, I just like the lanky look), and would probably feel weird dating someone a LOT shorter than me, but a few inches don't bother me.
I have dated guys who freak out and get insecure if I want to wear heels, though, and that's a pain in the ass.
Exactly, I played High school basketball just a few years ago, and now I consistently play when I don't have to much work to do in College.
Being 5'4", that's not usually a problem for me.I think I have gone out with guys shorter than me maybe 3 times in my life. 2 were one date kind of things, but there was one guy that I dated for about a year who was an inch shorter than me. It never bothered me.
They may be concerned about the close proximity to your penis.
Yours or theirs? Just asking.I have dated guys who freak out and get insecure if I want to wear heels, though, and that's a pain in the ass.
Everytime I see any reference to The Crying Game my thoughts drift to CF. Man or Non-Man, CF, I love ya. You're the most interesting person on this board.
How about 400 pound drive-thru managers with braided back hair (cornrows actually) and all 26 of their 32 teeth (soon to be whitened by 23 shades by the way)? Any interest in them?
pe e lite?![]()
Also, younger people are also taller than the population average. I'd bet the users of this site are generally younger than the average. They don't lie less though - and plenty of people are lying.
Nice, I've visited Macau a couple of times. Stanley Ho is a wise and gentle man.
Anyway, re: the Chinese women - that's a very smart social convention (they generally exist for a good reason, in spit of what progressives want the people to believe). Taller people are healthier, more pleasant to the eye and have better chances of surviving in case of a catastrophe, as they're, in general, physically stronger. By forcing their young virgins to pick taller men through social pressure, the Chinese people are finding a way of making life easier for their better genes.
You met Stanley Ho?
He is the most richest man in Macau and one of the billionaires in Asia
thats nonsense, very tall people are more prone to injury, die younger, and are usually unathletic and goofy as . as far as stronger, thats definately not the case look at mma fighters, boxers, power lifters, martial artists. almost none are over 6'5, most closer to 6'0. its rare to find a tall person with a solid build as most are long and scrawny. take a look at the height's of nfl players and track athletes. if i could pick a height i'd probably be 6'2 or 6'3, tall but not excessive. like someone else said before 6'2 is just about the perfect height.
No, it's not.
