Cannot quote source, but book it...dont know how I feel about it but they are planning on working him during the east coast swing and seeing how it plays out. I am thinking he will do well and Jacque or Udoka become the designated injured player

Chroshere is just a dirk-type player but he is just half as good as dirk, but still a little bit better than bonner

If there were anybody out there even remotely good as D-Rob Pop would have picked him up a a heartbeat. But there isn't. Kurt Thomas is one of the best defensive Cs around, and we got him. Dwight Howard has the potential to be as good someday, but the Magic obviously aren't parting with him, and they got him while we were busy winning a championship.
Tim Duncan is the best C and the best PF in the game today. There isn't anyone even close to the traditional C that D Rob played. There just isn't.
Matt Bonner has been a good switch for us because he hustles, rebounds, and stretches the defense. He is the closest things we're gonna find to Horry, and I think he's better than Croshere.
i don't mind trying Austin. He is definitely more athletic and fearless then Bonner. He can drive the ball better. When Bonner is off on games why not give him a shot.
I hope this works out, but I doubt it will.
