SPAM is not a "myth", it's happened 5 years in a row. And in each of those years there's been a period in Jan-Feb when we look absolutely horrible, just like this game. Pop works his teams to peak at the right time, when it matter, going into the playoffs. He is a master at doing just that with his teams. And yet you insult all the "homers" who actually know the rhythm of their team, whilst you display your ignorance.

Does that mean we don't need an athletic big? No. but that doesn't mean this team won't be a uva lot better as they gel in the second half.

SPAM didn't happen last year. The RRT was beyond frightening last year.

However, as crappy as they looked heading into the playoffs in 2008 they still went to the WCF.


This might be the worst defensive team the Spurs have put on the court in the last 10 years so that could be the deal breaker between this year and last. Hopefully Pop can right the ship come April

What are you talking about? We were horrible in Jan (8-8), went 6-3 on the RRT and it brought the team together, then we went 26-10 to finish the year and looked a much better team. I watched 77 games last year, i remember it distinctly.
