there was no official timeout. vinny was trying to formulate a play while the refs were discussing 2 or 3 FTs for Manu.....so the Spurs players all went over and stood around Vinny. It was a brilliant move by our heady team.

Really impressed with his play. He saved parker and bowens asses and iced the game for us. As wild as he may play sometimes he is a freak and I would hate to lose him. Couldn't imagine him with another jersey being our nightmare. By the way wtf were they thinking in the last minute (parker bowen.)

News flash - Jameer Nelson is now a REAL NBA player. After a great rookie season he regressed, but now he has found his game.

Great play by Manu at the end. I guess this sums up while the Spurs won this game: the edge in experience this team has in close games over guys like Rose, Noah, and the rest of the Bulls.

I'm pretty sure Pop wanted Nelson in the draft. I read the Spurs tried to move up to get him.
Was that the Beno draft? I think Nelson was their number 1 option.
And yes I have watched a little bit of the Magic and Nelson has been awesome this season. He treats Parker like Marbury used to treat him.

Nelson was clutch in last 2 min, but come on...
Now this is why the ball should be in Manu's hand during crunch time. TP has been too erratic and for some reason always goes for the long jump shot.
Another observation: when someone inbounds the ball to Duncan, he almost always gives it Manu.
I say from now on, give the ball to Manu at the end of quarters.
Also i get the feeling that Pop is holding Manu for the Playoffs. I think he saw what happened last year when Manu got gassed.
