N'empêche qu'on trouvera toujours des grincheux pour vouloir le trader... (voir le topic sur Collison)
Je crois que seul un divorce pourrait faire monter sa cote chez la jaloux
    Translation (we are not alone!!)

"There will always be som moaners who wants to trade him ... (see Collison topic)
I thinks only a divorce could make him more popular those jalous"

And I do agree, but that's clearly not the only reason...

I think that he has a very uncommon way of playing the PG position, and people are used to ether "classic" PG (Payton, Kidd, Nash, Stockton...) or "scoring" ones like Iverson who only passes the ball if they have no other options...
I think he is a "3rd" type of point guard, he could have been like Iverson, but has been willing under Pop to learn the PG position... and he did well!!!
Just look the evolution of his game each year seens he came in the league... always adding something!
You could compare him to Billups in the way that he was a scoring guard who became PG under Brown with the Pistons..

I won't enter in a kind of "bash war" with you!
1st because its a Spurs forum and some may not appeciate...
    2nd because... Bordeaux
You realy wanna argue with me ??
Even if they have good results, who cares??

Honestly there are only 2 great clubs in France : PSG and OM (even if I hate them, I respect them as the only one who face the same public/media/politic... pressure than us)

Anyway, you are having a great seasonand have the most "aesthetics" player in ligue1.
So congrats and 1ce again, let's talk about it in 3 weeks... lol
Let's put the soccer aside indeed because: 1) a fan of the PSG is the only fan that can be fairly compared to a suns fan and 2) the US fans of BB don't give soccer a ****.

Just a Huge for the "Honestly there are only 2 great clubs in France : PSG and OM"

Now regarding TP in the league you have CP3 and after there is a group leaded by TP: Deron / Nash / Rose etc... CP3 is clearly the best after you can argue a lot.

That is one of those groups of stats that really does not mean much of anything.

Paul is averaging over 20 PPG and 11 assists per game and is shooting 49.4%.
From my PG, I'll take the extra 4.5 assists and give up the less than 1% FG % difference.
    Fine,
So who gives you the extra scoring an the penetrations (that allowed Masson, Bonner, Fin or Manu to shoot the 3 as "quietly") Parker brings?
Plus, you know the Spurs systems are rarely "catch and shoot", I meen Duncan often plas QB when he is double teamed and Many is also a king of play maker...
All this is good 4 the Spurs, it makes it even more difficult 4 the opponent!

We love Tony and we know he's a great point guard. But the stat you quoted was a bit contrived.

This isn't a "stat of my own" !!!
I just read the SA Express News preview of tonight game and noticed this!!
It surprised me and I wanted to share it with all my fellow STs who are well known for being so much in love with their point guard...

I mean you won't offend the vast majority of us because we don't follow soccer, so if you want to talk with Brazil, I would personally find it amuzing.

Also, by "contrived" I didn't mean you'd made the stat up. I meant it was arbitrary. For example, "I'm the only poster in this thread over 30. Isn't that ing awesome??" Someone pointed out CP is shooting 49%, which is also pretty good.

I would have said a NY fan (bigget potential of the country, mythic stadium, overpaid players, dumb organisation...lol)

Tony could get CP3 numbers as far as assists go, the problem is when he dishes out after driving, almost 90% of the time they pass it off to another man rather than shoot it to try and break down the opponents defense.

Oh.... and Soccer isnt a real mans sport, its like Frisbee golf. Only 's and hippies watch/play it.

    football player are soft
Specially "latin" players who brought all the diving and the cheating in the game.
If you whatch english players, they are more "physical" than "technical"...
(I mean you can be happyif you escape a game with no injuries!! )
    I wouldn't call them "soft"

For the comparaison with Suns fans I let you lurk the forum you will figure out.

Congrat for comparing the PSG with NY is a fair one

Ah by the way for the Ligue 1 Saint Etienne > Nantes > OM > Lyon > Monaco > Reims > Bordeaux > Nice > Lille > PSG. For the current season Bordeaux > PSG and for the last 10 years bordeaux > psg.
