Yao scores 31 in a heroic effort to beat both the nuggets and the refs. What I found hilarious was when Chris Anderson blocked Scola, Anderson started head boppin like he's the , then 2 seconds later gives up a layup. Refs were terrible, Carmelo sittin on bench lookin like a , and von wafer tearin it up with 18 points.

Congrats to the rockets for overcoming the odds. Refs or not nuggets suck.
I watched the last quarter of this game and the calls were horrible. Both sides got screwed a little but Denver definitely got screwed more in the last few possessions when it mattered most. Salvatore and the are both horrible refs.
Just like that Boston announcer once said, Violet Palmer needs to get back to the kitchen.

Yes there were some questionable calls but the refs bailed the Rockets out from the 1 minute mark.
That "ofensive foul" on Nene when he made the shot was totall BS. That was the game winner imo.
Yeah, you're totally right. Any player should be able to shove a defender away from them and slam the ball down in the process.
not saying thats not a bail out call or anything but the foul was on Klizer (sp?) who charged into Hayes with both of his feet set. if the foul were on Nene he would have been foul out (which he didnt). anyway i think the calls were pretty even. Nuggets blew the game themselves with the wideopen airball by Carter, missed wideopen put-back by Nene, and choked FTs by KMart

Teams have won championships with guys like Samaki Walker, AC Green, Rasho Nesterovic, BJ Armstrong, and Bruce Bowen starting. No need to hype Von Wafer especially when he was up against Dahntay Jones.

Both teams played well. Was an exciting game, but the officials had way to much impact on the game.
Hype is something that is not real, Von Wafer is for real. He's been playin like this for the past 2 weeks he has started. Detroit got ed in the deal that sent Billups away, AI is on the decline, so I can sense some envy.
Was it hype when he did it to Kobe Bryant? Stop the hate.

Nuggets did well considering it was 8 on 5. Rockets aren't nearly as tough as last year

Yao Ming got KILLED out there, and no calls. Chris Anderson held his arm down and they called traveling on Yao.
Give me a break, if the refs called 2 hands in the back when the Nuggets were trying to guard Yao it would have been a 20 point Rockets win.
Chuck Hayes got in position and made a great play.
And if Kenyon could make 2 FTs..which a professional basketball player should be able to do....they might still be playing.
Don't go blaming the refs when the players caused the failure.
BTW the Nuggets shot 27 FTs to the Rockets 20.....

lol... i thought it was a horrible call on nene in the final minutes... clyde drexler was announcing and said he cleared off with his left arm. i didnt see it and thought it was another BS call. and then i went back and check and it wasnt a foul on nene that wouldve given them the lead... it was called on kleiza charging chuck hayes (which was a legit foul, feet set and all) before he passed the ball to nene.
so the refs didnt bail the rockets out on that one. nugget fans that think is was 8 vs 5 in rockets favor have homer goggles on. it was 5 v 5 with piss poor officiating both ways. 3 1/2 quarters in favor of denver and 1/2 a quarter in favor of rockets.
I couldn't believe the they were letting Canyon Fartin' and Turdman get away with on Yao.in chickin McThuggets!
