The Celtics had come in winning 19 straight. They were playing great basketball. They just ran into the better team with a defensive gameplan they could not adjust to (i.e. Kobe on Rondo).
You'd be a damn ing goddamn idiot to actually think Celtics played like they had been playing prior to that game.
Their normal "defense" wasn't entirely there that day.

I don't know why rondo is even being considered for all-star team. He makes horrible passes and decisons in fast breaks. To defend him all you have to do is play off him and dare him to take a jump shot.
