Also, those Bush and Clinton figures leave out security costs. The believed total for the 2005 Bush inauguration was $157 million.

Basically, this all boils down to Ducks sucking hairy balls.
I know.I swear way too much and I really am ashamed. I can filter it, but (and see I'd really like to say " it" right here), it's politics. Still, I need to consciously cut down.

That's incredibly weak. Phrasing something specifically to offend and upset another person? She doesn't seem to be nearly as "bent" as you are, for what it's worth.
Oh no! Jman is getting upset! Whatever shall we do!?
Please remind me when this forum was created to ensure your happiness and contentment. I'll let Kori know ASAP that you're getting butthurt over here so she can coddle you and make it better.
Jesus needs money?
Translation: "You just totally made me sound like a dumbass. I think I'll go over here."
Apparently donating money to a real person that is alive is dumb, but giving your money to an invisible man that lives in the sky or to someone that has been dead and rotting for about 2,000 years is money well spent.
the great thing for the gov is they can spend anything and use the excuse it is stimulus for the economy
But if we don't give money, how will the ministers be able to tell us what Jesus is saying....?
Where do you guys think the money spent goes? To some big pit in the ground with a sign that says inauguration costs? Or to people who provide services and own companies and employ people?
Do you realize how utterly stupid the statements made talking about how bad the economy is and how bad it is to spend money? What? Do you realize the economy is poor when people don't spend money, so how is the spending of money bad for the economy again?
Angel, you do realize they're not going above and beyond the inauguration events of previous inaugurations right? You realize the extra costs are due to people coming to DC because they want to be here, right? Its not as though the inauguration is an event that is big because of some huge advertising campaign or promotion company hyping it up.
Do you realize that the biggest promotion that has been put on by the Obama camp was pushing an incredible day of public service today and that the campaign to do so resulted in record turnouts for that kind of service? Do you think that is a waste, Angel?
It makes you all look so damn bitter when you get angry about these things. Seriously, Obama should not have made such a spectacle out of public serviice the way he did today. I mean I got no less than 20 emails over the past few weeks on that subject. Its horrible.
How dare anyone question my spending. I am beyond criticism.
Hannity doesn't.

Such a ing spectacle, isn't it? Pay special attention to the numbers of volunteers who came out, what prompted their attendance, and why.
I'm sure if Obama was fully black he'd have doubled these numbers.
