No disrespect intended to the LakeShow, BTW. Cavs were shorthanded and the officiating was slanted, though.
No disrespect to the Cav's but the Lakers were also shorthanded and the fouls favored the Cavs 17-14 and they went to the line more too.

I didn't really expect the Cavaliers to win tonight. Even though the Lakers still have 1 starter and backup PG out, their depth is still too much for the Cavs. It showed when the bench came in and pumped up the lead. You can tell LeBron was tired in the 4th when he was missing his shots.

LeBron needs one more star on his team that can take over for him in the 4th ala Shaq/Kobe. That 4th quarter beating was a bit embarrassing.

Two starters >>>>>>>> Backup point guard.

LakeShow was the better, healthier team tonight. They had a huge advantage in the frontcourt and they exploited it, to their credit. The statistics don't explain the officiating disparity, but I won't belabor it any more. LA was better tonight, period. See you in Cleveland on Feb. 8.

It's close. Lakers also had 1 starter out.

    2 starters > 1 starter, 1 backup PG.

    Walton ? C'mon man.

I don't think anyone can take anything from this game.

Teams tend to underperform when they're missing 40 percent of their starting lineup.

The offense runs much better when Walton's in. He's actually playing well this year.

I don't remember exactly but I don't think the Lakers have lost with Walton as the starting SF yet.

Although, sometimes the depleted team is even more dangerous and over performs. Luckily today wasn't one of those times.

Never thought I'd see a LakeShow fan so happy about beating the Cavaliers by 17 points.

I could careless. I still prefer Walton sitting on the bench. Only in LA under Phil Jackson would this scrub get playing time.

Not me, face. I think Luke does a vital job in the Laker offense. He and Lamar Odom are the two best passers and initiators in the triangle offense.

Philip thinks so too, that's why Luke is a starter.

    Absolutely.

But he fits the triangle like a glove, if not for the triangle, he's pretty useless.

No, it's more like, Vlade was so pathetic that Phil had no choice but to use Walton. Walton = no shot, no defense, no nothing. His passing is vastly overated. The ball isn't even in his hands much. He's a scrub.

Him and Lamar Odumb are the two worst players who get consistent minutes on the Lakers.

Ok, I'll give you that. He's fortunate that he knows the triangle well. Because we all know Phil cherishes his lil tri.

Hold on. Our interior D would have been better with Z out there. How about 95-89?
