Is it patriotic of Rush to hope that Obama's policies fail so long as those policies are ones that he disagrees with? I mean, if I disagreed with President Bush's policies and hoped those policies failed, I would (undoubtedly) be labelled unpatriotic (or worse).
I guess my question for wholesale ideologues is whether the health and prosperity of the nation can, in some instances, be put aside in the hope of winning an ideological battle? Is patriotism wishing the health and prosperity of the nation or is it a matter of prevailing in a civil war of ideas?
