This is only for football. Stanford is #45.
Overall, though, I would say Stanford and UT are the top two sports universities.

Notre Dame, USC, OU, UT, Mich, Ohio St, Tennessee, Florida, Penn St, Fla St, Bama, braska and Miami all have arguments to be in the top ten
UTSA will be #1 in two years after our football program starts, three years max.
We're going to hire John Gruden as our HC and we will shock the world.
I mean, who gives a damn if no one bothers to come to our basketball or baseball games. Somehow, we're going to be pulling UTSA fans out of a vortex from outer space and we will fill the stadium that will be built soon that sits 100,000 fans.

But, a librarian who would rather invest in academics over football program that will take well over a decade to produce any kind of result is actually . . . well, intelligent.
And, to make a point, football is my favorite sport. If you ever spend anytime on the NFL Forum here on ST, you'd know that.
But, you never post there, which only confirms the fact that you want a football team here at UTSA so you could jack off under the bleechers to all those hunky men you always fantasize about.
