Tom Cruise went downhill for me after Risky Business.

Anything with Adam Sandler in it.
He was great in 'Big Trouble in Little China' also...
That's the one where he is fighting Mandarins !
Thanks for the le![]()
I liked him in Stargate and Tequilia Sunrise. He is not a bad actor. Not great but not bad. Wasn't he is Vanillia Sky. That was a good flick.
Tango and Cash !!!
Nicolas cage. I don't care for his looks or the way he talks.
Don't forget Miracle. And Overboard! Which is a classic.
I've never had a problem with K-Russ
Thats right. Our Dad made us watch Overboard a few times. It was pretty good. There was a movie he was in with Robin Williams. He was a great highschool QB that was hurt and never went to college. Years and years later they set up a re-match with the old rival. It was funny.
Nothing wrong with Kurt Russel
There is a lot of Cage hate, but i thought he was really good in "Lord of War", "Gone in Sixty Seconds", and "Next".
Hey I thought he was great early on in "Moonstruck", "Raising Arizona", and "Peggy Sue Got Married".
[QUOTE=MrChug;3041395]What movies do you see someone in and say to yourself "Not watching that crap" or, "Well, I ALMOST thought about watching that one, but nah...hate that dude/chick"
There's plenty for me but some popular answers include Keanu Reeves, Julia Roberts, Owen Wilson, Ben Affleck, Denzel Washington, and even Vince Vaughn.
I gotta admit I haven't seen a movie with ANY of these "actors" in a while, but the longest is Denzel. Should have seen American Gangster but he overacts so much can't even bring myself to see that...[/QUO
Keanu Reeves, Bill Paxton and Winona Ryder.
i don't care how much you hate the guy, he's ing gold in frank and miri make a porno.
Even though I used to play Madden with the dude, Morris Chestnut. His movies are just not my cup of tea. He was great in Boyz in the Hood though.
A few others would be Will Smith, Bill Bellamy, Ron Perlman, Antonio Banderas, Jackie Chan, and Jet Li.
Overall, I like Tom Cruise. Tropic Thunder kinda sucked except for his role.

I won't say that Denzel overacts, It just seems like that since Training Day, he has taken the same lines and little sayings with him to every movie since then.
Yet Con Air might be the single worst acting performance of all time.

I think he's bored and unhappy with what he's done lately. I caught a Charlie Rose interview with him where he depressingly more or less said he only did American Gangster for the money. Actually, outside of The Great Debators, I think he's been doing everything for the money in recent years. He should chill, take a couple years off. Quit doing these lame ass, cliche, Man on Fire, Inside Man, John Q type of roles. He's a better actor than the guy who's been doing these weak "thriller" films.
Poe- "School is very Important" talking in really bad southern accent.
Yeah thats a good point. Clive Owen made Inside Man.
See there lies the problem. In the movies I mentioned he was a "character"; he was really acting. Everything else I don't understand how it's acting; it's more of a "portrayal" of someone? And he just doesn't do "some guy" very well. LOL
I thought he did okay in "The Rock". Stanley Goodspeed.
Awww MAN, well you have to swallow some pride and see "Accepted" seriously. He's generally funny but he's damn good in that movie. Or was it just the movie that was damn good??? I don't know...
