Is this normal? PS3 question

So, I have a PS3, but no HDTV (yet)

My brother has an HDTV, but no PS3 (yet)

So, I rented a few Blu-Ray movies and video games, took them along with my PS3 to my brother's, to have a great HDTV experience.

When I plugged my PS3 to his HDTV with the Hdmi cable, the PS3 asked me if I wanted to configure to HD, 1080P, blablablabla....

Which I did, and everything worked great


Now, the problem:

I took my PS3 back home, plugged it to my regular TV (with the AV cables), and....... nothing on my screen

Does that mean I have to plug the PS3 to another HDTV to configure it back to regular TV?

I guess the PS didn't identify an HDtv.

ANy thought ????

I'm on my cell phone so I can't find a link but no you do not need a hdtv.

google...ps3 video default reset..or somethjng like that and it will show you how. I wanna say it's holding the power button for 5 secs but I'm not 100% sure

I believe you turn it on and hold the power button for about 3-5 seconds, until it beeps a couple of times. It just resets to 480
