He's not you half-wit. He's saying you're the type of fan that gets so emotional over one loss that he/she turns off the TV before the game is over. Usually emotional people don't give good analysis.

I watched bit of that game and would have watched all of it if the Spurs weren't on tonight.

I really like the way Minnesota is playing lately. Mchale (spelling?) seems to be doing a good job and Jefferson is very good.

He didn't tell you what to do, he pointed out that giving up on your team, saying you won't watch the regular season 30 games in, and not watching the end of games is the stuff of bandwagoners. And he's right.
