Whose rod were they using? Is that a gay reference?
Jay McGwire, Mark's brother is shopping a tell all book about their rod use. Looks like the brotherly love is gone by the wayside for cold ca$h. Nice guy.

He ain't getting in the hall anyways.
I hope not. He's a ing roid head. About a week or so ago there was an article on Yahoo sports where people sent emails to a journalist who didn't vote for McGwire. Or maybe he did I can't remember.
Anyway so many people bashed the guy because they thought he should have voted for McGwire in the hall. Personally the guy lost all credibility with me. And I'm a steroid supporter....but he's the ultimate hypocrite and a lying sack of . Sammy Sosa is too. And Palmeiro..I know Giambi roided it but god damn it at least he ing admitted it. Unlike Sosa and McGwire who played stupid so their reputations wouldn't go down the ter.
Mark is not getting to the Hall because he is white. Barry is not because he is black. Sammy is not because he is latin. Racism in America.
Racism---That's stupid--they wont get into the hall because they are unrepentant cheaters. Hey --*See Pete Rose.
He did no such thing.
Are you asking from your experience?
Called sarcasm.Of course they don't deserve to go into the hof.
Nope, that's why I asked if it was a gay reference.
You're the one who started a thread about two guys using rods.
It's O.K. --you can come out of the closet now. I was talking about steroids, but you made the gay reference so I guess you must know all the gay buzz words. We won't think less of you. Don't be shy about it.
You're being awfully sensitive over a joke on a messageboard. Do you really want to keep dragging it out over a little joke over a typo? You sensitive .
Don't get upset or have a hussy. It's just a little joke.......
I bet mcguire has used plenty of rods in his day.
lmao nice try. You were the one having a period over my joke.
I have no problem with players using steroids in sports. Sadly that's exactly what sports has always and will always be. People who talk about the integrity of the game are ridiculous. There is no integrity of the game. There's a reason why sports and business are so often linked together.
You do whatever you have to gain an edge in business. You do whatever you have to gain an edge in sports. In sports...as in business...winning is everything. Winning big and recently is everything too.
That's why you hear all these players talk about how "That's the way the business goes." "It's nothing personal to the team it's just business." " I didn't want to get traded but they did what's in the best business interest of the team" Blah Blah Blah.
Thats a lame excuse for cheating. Instead of accepting it you should be disgusted like alot of people are. People that have voiced thier opinions that steroids is wrong have been heard.
Most leagues have much better systems in place catching the roid heads. Baseball has listened. Players numbers are down statiscally and viewers are watching as much as ever.
Its not cheating if it was not against the rules. Plus its not cheating when the direction comes from the top of MLB to use the roids.
Lets not forget when this happened. It happen right after Bud canceled the World Series. Plus if you do not let Bonds, McGuire into the hall then you cannot let anyone in. Since you cannot prove who did or who did not use the juice. It has been proven that both hitters and pitchers used. So unless you just void out this era you cannot say one player is better than others.
Plus what about the 70's and 80's when they were using Amphetamines (speed)? Which are/were illegal.
Um its against the law. How in the is that not cheating. Come on. Good news. We all know Bonds and McGuire were on Roids. Common sense tells everyone. The HOF has enough problems getting people in, the last thing on there mind is "proving" these roid heads did it.
baseball turning against its great players to save Selig's ass. What a ing joke that league is. I don't like McGwire, Sosa, Bonds, Clemens, etc. cheating for their records, but Selig stood by and didn't do . He's the ing W of sports commissioners. It seems almost unbelievable now that only 20 years ago baseball was loved by this country the same way the NFL is now.
So...because some guys got away with something at one time, we should let others get away with it now?
It was okay to own other people up until 1865...why not bring that back?
