Pretty icy here in Brady also.
Got out at my delivery and slipped on the pavement, so I said screw it and headed for the hotel.
Bad, bad weather up here in the Metroplex! Just found out I don't have to go to work tomorrow! Of course, now I'll have to use vacation time in order to get paid for tomorrow - bummer![]()

You're in Brady? I remember driving through that place all the time going between Abilene and McAllen.
It's icy as up here in East Garland. I walked out to my car to get something and damn near fell down twice. Glad I picked this week to take vacation.
Brrrrrr - it's 27 degrees here! I just looked outside and the ground is white! I'm upstairs so I can't tell if it's ice or snow. Just glad I'm inside and don't have to go anywhere.
It's the global warming. Thank God your government is already taking measures.
It's "only" 40 here in Corpus but it feels so good! I have my window open.

Lame ass winter we are having
Honey, I've spent too many years stranded in my house with kids off on snow days (try 14 days running) and shoveling 5 feet of snow to complain. This is a damn LOVELY winter we are having!![]()
I'm native Texan, never experienced that .![]()
Austin weather guys said the roads would be sheets of ice, too ... so of course they weren't.
It was a sheet of ice in Arlington with a good amount of snow covering the ground. Not much now. Almost all melted away.
Looks like I picked a super terrific day to fly into Dallas.
that was an enjoyable drive here in Ft Worth this morning.
It was iced over here in Carrolton this morning...I took a half day off to let it pass.
alright since CBF and AHF are neighbors at the Gables at North North Richland Hills Lake, someone give us an update from yalls neck of the woods
