It seems the Bobcats are to Lakers as Bucks are to Spurs.

    Boris says o ! 23 9 9

The French were hot : Boris just demonstrates that when using him wisely he delivers, Pietrus back to injury with a 27 pts 10 reb and 4 assists (i would love to seem him in a spurs jersey) and TP with a regular night for his standards.

I was thinking all the French together could make a good nba team : tp/boris/pietrus/turiaf/noah/batum/ajinca : scoring skills, size, youth, talent.

If only the French Fed could build a decent project around this core, with a decent coach... (we don't even have one yet!!)
I'm very pessimist about the national team (our bigs are too young and tony, boris & turiaf will be too old when Noah, Ajinca or Petro will be mature...)
    But who knows...

No kidding, never knew the French could field a talented group like this. I think they'd give the Argies and the Spaniards a run for their money in the Olympics.

Forget the national team bro, it's over ! they have wasted the talent of TP and Boris.

But for the nba they should create a french franchise in New Orleans, it makes sense after all.

yup we can add for the garbage time Petro / Diawara and we can dream to have another decent big with Ian Mahinmi.

Let this group two years together and welcome the PO ... (in the east)

That group could probably beat alot of the NBA teams.

It's amazing, the French have at least one very good player at every position.

BUT the NT sucks ! this is the French paradox when they have scrubs they won the silver medal in Australia and they have a talented group they suck.

We have also a lot of young talents playing in France / Spain / Italy...

    Sigh....c'est la vie.

NT I think just has bad management/coaching. No reason why they can't be at the top with such talent.

I can see the headline now this summer: "French coach plans on bringing back Rigaudeau to add stability, with Parker off the bench".

One cultural reason : the french don't deliver when they are favorites except J. Longo / S. Loeb / TP / the 2000 soccer team / D Douillet / A Prost..

I love to be a French fan of sport, you can watch everything in sport when a french is in, even if the guy is a scrub, you never know, he can win it. A lot of fun.

The team that won the silver medal in 2000 : J Bilba (quite good) / Bonato (good) / Dioumassi (?) / Foirest (decent) / C Julian (lol) / Rigaudeau (star) / risacher (below decent) / Sciarra (decent) / Sonko (decent) / F Weis !!! (below decent) / Palmer (decent)

    Globally 1 star 2 good players 4 decent = 1 silver medal

I think an Argentine coach or a Serbian one maybe could lead the French NT to a championship... their core of players is SICK!
