It was a flagrant foul, people get injured when flagrant fouls occur.
A collapsed lung doesn't come from a basketball move, where that the case every year players would get them.
It was a flagrant foul, people get injured when flagrant fouls occur.
In last night's game, Bynum, the LA golden boy, threw a punk elbow at Wallace, a lowly Bobcat. by the way, even the Laker announcer said Bynum clearly wasn't going for the ball.
On the other hand, if Okafor had done the same to K. Bryant, Okafor would be suspended for a year.
A little forearm & you get a collapsed lung & broken rib??? come on man that fool must be fragile as . Either that or bynum has been getting lessons from chuck norris![]()
Oh please stop with the self-righteous BS.
It was a hard foul and nothing more. Bynum had no intention of breaking his ribs or collapsing his lungs and you all know that. People get injured in the NBA sometimes, I'm sure you were all equally fumed at Horford's foul on TJ Ford right?
you must not know much aboutthe NBA cuz a few seasons ago raja bell grabbed kobe by the neck & threw him down hard..You know what he got?? A one game suspension hahaha bynum aint gettin for throwing a little forarm into someones chest

He's running at full force, he has no way to deflect the blow, and Bynum, instead of stepping in front of him(a basketball move), elbows him where he had no chance to stop it. I'm no doctor but it's possible the broken rib punctured the lung
total move by Bynum. he could have fouled him without elbowing him in the chest.
at the fake indignation of Spur fan. Stop embarrassing yourselves.
at the fake sympathy from Laker fan when they actually booed the call while the guy is on the floor screaming cause he has a broken rib and a collapsed lung.
Boo hoo, a broken rib and a collapsed lung. It was a freak play. Get over it.
BBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Say that again i couldn't hear you.
Yeah, it was a hard foul. Laker's TV broadcast lead Joel Meyers immediately recognized it as a flagrant and deservedly so. At the time, it seemed like that would seal the Lakers' fate in the game, down 5 with 2 FTs coming plus another possession. Then Larry Brown chose Raja to shoot the FTs and we all know what happened next.
No one knew at the time that Wallace had a collapsed lung or a broken rib. I do agree though that booing Wallace was terrible. I do hope he gets back to the court soon. I'm expecting Bynum to be suspended for quite awhile....
Believe it or not Laker fan the reason the NBA frowns upon Flagrant fouls(brace yourself cause this will blow your mind) is because when Flagrant fouls occur injuries happen. Do you honestly believe that every player who committed a Flagrant foul and injures someone meant to injure the player? Or where maybe some of those injuries accidents resulting from a flagrant foul? Most times those players still got suspended.
It was a hard foul and I believe in the no layup or dunk rule of thought. It's unfortunate that it happened to Wallace as he's one of my favourite players outside any Laker. Consdering Wallace will be out for at least 1 week I can see a suspension happening even though I believe it's not warranted. There was no intent to hurt, but to prevent. It's b-ball.
Of course Bynum didn't have the intent, but what makes it bad is he didn't play the ball AT ALL.
How is Gasol's beard after the Morrison's flagarant foul?
How can any idiot say that wasn't dirty? Bynum puts his elbow up to the dude's neck/head and sticks his hip out. That's textbook move (the hip) for wanting to someone up without causing damage to yourself.
Suspend Bynum for the entire playoffs.
I would love for KT to do the same exact thing to Kobe.
