Jeopardy is opening up its contestant search to online participants tonight at 7 pm for the central time zone. As far as I can tell they are still allowing registration. I'm signed up. Is anyone else doing this?
Registered and BTW its 8pm, not 7
Thankfully you can take it tomorrow at 10pm if tonight doesn't work.
"Who is Greg Lemond" kept me from making it past the preliminary round in Austin a number of years back.
Whoops. That's what I meant. Damn shifty keyboard makers put the 7 and 8 right next to each other.
I'll try. Maybe I'm not the brightest, but I have a huge wealth of worthless trivia facts stored in here![]()
Man, did I suck. I didn't realize you had to have such a great command of literature to be on Jeopardy these days.
BUMP
They are doing the online test again tomorrow, Wednesday, and Thursday depending on your time zone. Not too late to register!

Signed up. I'm sure I will fail miserably but it sounds fun.
I wish they still had Rock 'n Roll Jeopardy. I used to kill at that.
Let's see what obscure category I suck at will be emphasized this year.
"I'll take Enlightenment-era German Yak Herders for $200, Alex!"
I'll take "Searching for 15 minutes of Fame and a Quick Buck" for $1000, Alex.
I took the college one back in October and the only questions I knew without a doubt were "Who won the NBA Finals MVP in 2006?" and "What is the spanish word for river?". I completely sucked ass. I thought I was smart...needless to say they never called me for an audition![]()
I just signed up. Someone can make me a Spurstalk tie if I make it.
Me too! and me too?![]()
signed up.
this could be fun.
people are going to cheat online. google search ftw. anyone who has played online trivia games is faster than 15 seconds
They might but they would get weeded out as the process goes on.
I hope all you who tested did really well.![]()
And the weeding out process would be particularly humiliating, so those folks would get what they deserve. Once you test you're in their records for 18 months.
bump. don't forget.
5:30 to go and counting down.
I just hope I don't freeze up. As long as I can answer the stuff I know I know, I'll be satisfied.
If you're the freezing up type (happens to me too), better to do it here and not on national TV.![]()
