Srsly, after watching the clip, I think they should have handed out a hefty suspension to Bynum, BECAUSE this kind of thing happens too often and clearly can cause serious injury. It was clearly deliberate - he stuck out his arm, knowing Wallace was coming forward, and even if he didn't "know" he was going to FRACTURE HIS RIBS and PUNCTURE HIS LUNGS he was behaving recklessly and it caused an injury that should never, ever happen in professional sports.
Give me a break. Tweaked ankles when someone lands awkwardly on someone's foot? Knee fracture from bumping knees? That's accidental. Puncturing someone's lung after you deliberately put out your arm? That's reckless, and the NBA should make an example out of Bynum.

I don't believe I've ever seen Bowen do anything that blatant. But other guys have, and they should have been punished too.
