    Homer? You're the ing homer.

Hornets aren't en led to like Chris Paul thinks he is anytime anyone goes near him he thinks it's a foul.

You admit to me that Chris Paul is a little that whines to the refs and thinks any kind of contact is a foul on him then I will call myself a homer.
you pussy. your little Tony Longoria does that same ing thing and you know it. shut the up you coward

Good game by Finley. Hit his shots, grabbed some boards and took Peja out of his game.

son the only reason Paul would walk is if they don't get him some help. West is decent help at best, but we are missing another piece. Peja is a ing coward
Maybe I was a little harsh with my last post to you as I don't know you.

I just don't like the way Chris Paul acts sometimes. He is a freaking awesome player though. I think that three ball that he can hit really makes his dangerous.

I don't like it when TD complains to the refs either so if you want to call me a homer, your choice. I'd rather Tim ram it down someones throat that get caught up talking with the refs. It's hard though when the replay shows he is clearing getting hit then some clown like Mark Jackson says it's not a foul, but you gotta play on cause you can't change the call.

Spurs played good tonight, but I think we eased off a bit at the end. If the Hornets gave more of a challenge I think the Spurs could have still played better.

or maybe we just played a team that gave 50 minutes to S Marks, A Daniels, and Devin Brown
Yes, it was a nice win, the Spurs played quite well, but there is a fools gold aspect to games like these. Hornets are a jump shooting team and don't challenge our weaknesses much.
BTW, did you see Marks with the swooping putback dunk? That's gotta be a career highlight for him.

Bonner said he came off the bench because of the matchups
That's great to know that we can switch around our line-ups and still win a fairly easy one against a quality team.

Honestly, Tony doesn't get 10% the respect Paul get from the refs!
    Look at the stats!
Paul is one the the top FT shooters in the league, get tons of calls...
Parker (with his game in the paint) is maybe the PG that get the less calls...
I'm not a "homer", this fact has always "surprised" me since follow TP...

son Duncan handles himself very well whenever he cries to the refs. Parker on the other hand is just as bad as Paul with it. its amazing how some of you turn the other cheek with that ..... however, trust me I wish Paul would shut the up sometimes, but he gets a pass. he is the heart and soul of our team and I don't blame him for getting so pissed off at times because none of his teammates will step up and help him out. tonight he single handedly brought us back only to get benched and watch his teammates drop back down to 14 points down.

Paul had a one-to-one assist turnover ratio, Parker & Duncan both had a 7-to-1 assist turnover ratio.

This is maybe the first game TP dishes mre assists than Paul
    + Paul = 4 TO and only 4 AST!
that may be his lowest of the season...

I retract what I said earlier about being a bit harsh as I don't know you.

How am I a coward exactly? I don't like the Spurs complaining at all and I will say it anytime anyone asks. Overall I want the Spurs playing better defense not getting caught up with the refs.

Looks like you can't admit it so keep calling me a homer if you like. You're the one that started this by calling me out. Looks like you're the bigger homer after all as you won't admit to anything.

It's also laughable cause Tony doesn't get near the same calls the Chris Paul does. If Tony had the name Paul on his jersy a lot of his lay ups would be And 1's with the contact.

    read the above son

Fair enough. I did read it and deleted my post. I respect you last take.

I'll have to keep a closer look at Parker as I'm more focused on Duncan getting hacked all the time.

I don't think Chris Paul gets everything handed to him I was just saying I don't like the way he asks for more foul calls when I thought the first one was questionable. Really it's a matter of officiating in the NBA as a whole. I guess you can't blame the player if the refs choose to call it that way. Kobe is an example of that. D Wade as well.

I can see you point though about him doing it to fire up his teammates. If he's doing it for that reason and they play like the did tonight I guess he has to do something otherwise all his efforts are going to be wasted.

    I like Paul but ...

he does way to much. No way that Parker comes anywhere close to Paul in whining. Paul may be the biggest whiner in the league today. And I guess you haven't noticed Duncan has cut out the wide eyed complaining look. He rarely gets on the refs anymore. Rarely when he's pissed at the refs he will do make an immediate foul on a player to stop the game, like when he grabbed Paul after the three blind mice said " you Duncan, we're letting West hack the out of you and we're calling nothing."

I honestly think that is the main reason he es at times ... because his teammates leave him hanging in damn near every close game. I would get fed up too if I had to do every little thing. the dude is 5'10 (they give him 6 feet) and he out rebounds everyone on our team other than West (6'9) and Chandler (7'1) because he actually hustles for the ball. its little things like that ...

    Final: Spurs 106, Hornets 93

Michael Finley had his best game since early in the season. He sparked the Spurs early, made back-to-back baskets in the fourth quarter and scored 20 points as the Spurs beat the Hornets 106-93.

THIRD QUARTER: Manu Ginobili has 18 points, including seven in the last five minutes of the third quarter. The Spurs finished the third quarter with an 80-71 lead. The Hornets' Chris Paul scored 17 points in the period.

HALFTIME: The Spurs were 6 of 12 on 3-pointers in the first on the way to taking a 50-42 halftime lead.

FIRST QUARTER: Michael Finley and Tony Parker had eight points each and the Spurs used a 15-2 run to finish the first quarter with a 28-22 lead.

Spurs change starting lineup: Tony Parker, Roger Mason Jr., Michael Finley, Tim Duncan and Kurt Thomas. Going for a bigger lineup against the Hornets.

Chris Paul's on court behavior is redonkulous. Off the court he's a community supporter and while he's on the court he'll perform "where amazing happens' plays. That being said, he's painful to watch when dealing with the refs.

Obviously he's pumped up and cares about the game/ego enough to do it, but the way he barrell roll flops needs to be fined by the league if they're serious about cracking down on flops. And before any Hornet fan gets their ass all stung out of shape I agree that every team, including the Spurs, flops, but there's no one on the current squad who does something as stupid and annoying to watch as thirty barrell rolls before hitting the floor.

If you're gonna flop don't make it painfully obvious to watch by spinning a thousand times. Why? Looks annoying, stupid, and is one of the few things CP3 does that hurts the league.
