    Not in ALL of sports. They just won 2 in 4 years. Other than that they hadnt won one since ing 1979. Soooo model franchise I dunno. They have to keep up this pace to earn that le. Maybe the model franchise in the 70's as they won in 74', 75', 78', and 79'. But not now, the Patriots and Spurs are more model franchise's in current times all of sports than the Steelers.

    I wouldn't put them on the top over every team in sports but I would say that they are one of the model franchises in sports. They draft well, have coaching stability and on-field success.

    The Spurs aren't a model franchise. All they did was luck their way into Tim Duncan. Big deal, no skill required to do that.
